You should avoid buying crawfish from here! Im from New Orleans, so I KNOW crawfish. It is obvious that these guys dont have a clue. First off, they are way too expensive (about 4X the cost of crawfish in N.O. $13/lb vs. $3.50/lb in N.O.), but if youre desperate, like I was, youd pretty much pay anything. 2nd: They were overcooked. The tail meat just turned to mush every time I tried to peel one (had to discard at least 1/2 of them). 3rd: They boil them in plain water, so the meat is just bland. Crawfish is supposed to be boiled in water that has all the spices added, which results in a flavorful crawfish through and through. From what I can tell, they basically mix the spices and seasonings with butter and pour it over the cooked (overcooked) crawfish in a bag. The spices were awesome; I had the mix of all 3 flavors spicy. The flavor is not like traditional boiled crawfish, but it was delicious. The only problem is that its only on the shells and doesnt permeate the body of the crawfish. 4th: (this is the worst and most novice offense) They dont "purge" them. Crawfish not only need to be rinsed before boiling, they also need to soak in a vat of water (salted or fresh) for a period of time while still alive. This process forces the crawfish to "purge" all of the bile and crap out of their bodies. The crawfish I had was full of disgusting, black sludge, and most were inedible. For what I paid vs. what I experienced, I really am considering taking a quick, cheap flight to N.O. to get some real crawfish the next time I have a craving.

Ok this is a different concept type of place for Napervillians. You eat with your hands. Its finger food people! No white tablecloths or silverware. They bring the food to the table in the bags the food was cooked in and you pull them out, peel them and eat them. Probably not the place to go before prom, but when you want to kick back and have some fun, this place is awesome. This was my first time and had oysters and calamari for appetizers. Oysters were great and the calamari was good. 1lb shrimp headless , 1lb mussels ,1lb snow crab legs with the ultimate medium sauce. Very yummy! Probably going to try the king crab next time instead of the snow. Bigger might be better. Also had the kielbasa pieces mixed in with the shrimp and the sweet potato fries. Both very good. I would definitely recommend trying them out. This place is definitely going into my standard mix of restaurants. Have fun!

There arent a lot of fun seafood places in the western suburbs so the idea of a crab boil was an interesting one. Went here with some friends and we WILL be back! A variety of seafood and spices are available with sides. A semi limited drink menu but no complaints there as that isnt any youre going to a place like this. A little dark inside they have picnic tables styled seating and I cant go a moment without saying how delicious the food was. Perfect for a night out with friends or for before or after a movie (maybe after so you dont go into a food coma while watching!) Good food, service, and times. The only downside is that they dont take reservations (yet) so get there early to be on the safe side!

The food was ok, but overall Id say not great, I felt its a start up restaurant on a small budget. 1st the price of the seafood way to high, the crab was, only 3 pieces, shrimp ok, but for 24.99 a pound market price ... not worth it. You order and they give you your meal in a bag of sauce, I ordered potato corn Cobb and shrimp... no fork no knife no plate... they give you a small hot dog basket. If Im going to pay 70$ and there were no drinks included, I want a plate and silver wear. I hope the owners listening, even in a wealthy area, we arnt fools

The food was good, but the service was horrible! We had a group of 25 people and we were told we could only have 2 checks. It was obvious that because the tip was automatically charged, the waitress did not feel she had to give good service or be polite to earn it. We received one huge check without separate menu items itemized on the receipt. We had a difficult time and spent a lot of time breaking down what portion was owed by each person. I dont think Ill return again.

Stay away from the crawfish. They are undersized, this should be addressed by ownership. I ate 2#s drenched in hot Cajun Spice (good), and I left weighing 5#s lighter. A bit pricey for yielding probably 8 oz of meat. Stick with the peeled/deveined shrimp. Common handwashing sinks should have sensors on them so it is not necessary to touch them in order to wash up afterwards.

An instant shrimp boil. This is something that hasnt been seen in the suburbs much. Im glad its here. Have a Jones for a bayou based boil - give this place a try. The decor is very basic - very appropriate for this type of food. The service is attentive - the only requirement is that you like seafood.

The garlic parmesan french fries and the sweet potato french fries where amazing. My friend and I each got the lobster. It was served in a bag and we basically dissected it. It was a very interesting dinner. But it was great. Our waitress was amazing. The atmosphere is pretty cool.

This place is beyond fantastic. The prices are very high unfortunately. It was $38 for two pounds of crab... But that pretty much means 1 crab. The flavor is amazing, and the food is tasty. I can say this. For being this far in-land, this reminds me of home far east.

Seafood was great, one thing to be wary of is the chicken tenders. They give you same amount of fries as the standalone 4dollar order of fries which makes the 2 tiny chicken tenders they include in the meal 1.5 dollars each totaling 7 dollars

Great food and atmosphere, the wait was short. The waiter appeared a little bogged down by how busy the place was and forgot to ask one of our orders as well as forgot to bring us our drinks.

Lobster was great, had it with garlic butter and lemon pepper sauce mixed into one. Service was a little bit lackluster in terms of receiving items but staff was friendly and nice overall.

I got butter and garlic shrimp with corn and a potato. It was really good but I wish I would have chosen something with just a bit more zing or flavor. Price was pretty fair as well.

Bag-it Danno! Love the food! I just wish they were open later on Friday & Saturday. They really need to consider at lease 10 or 11 p.m. close times. 9 is just way too early.

Its pretty good....wish there was more sauce in the bag. This will be my holdover spot in the burbs when I dont feel like going to 2 fish or angry crab in the city

Normal seafood in bag place, my only disappointment was the powdered sugar on the sweet potato fries. It was a lot of sweet on sweet. Great service and great food.
