Im not exaggerating, this was THE WORST Mexican food Ive ever had. I ordered carne asada tacos with cilantro and onion. This is a pretty basic Mexican dish, usually its extremely difficult to mess up a taco. I was wrong. Like literally how?! It is just meat in a tortilla with onion and cilantro. The steak was poor quality meat: chewy, flavorless, and had a strange after taste. The cilantro looked and tasted like it was going bad; it appeared to be soggy and was a deep green hue. Though I asked for a corn tortilla, it looked like flour. So I asked the waitress if this was a mistake and she confirmed with me it was indeed corn. I took a bite and what do you know, it tastes like flour. Maybe the sauces could salvage this gross tasting taco.. Noooope! The two sauces were displayed in little tortilla chip cups? Weird but whatever. The salsa verde was a strange thick, creamy consistency, it had a slight kick but absolutely no flavor. The red sauce was spicy, smokey and unlike the previous sauce it had a more watery/liquid consistency. With that being said majority of the sauce was absorbed into the chip cup it was contained in. So when I attempted to pour some on my taco, BARELY ANYTHING CAME OUT! It was kind of weak too, just a slight spice and smoke taste but it was heaps better than their salsa verde but still wasnt good by any means. I asked the waitress for another little cup but not in a tortilla chip cup.. AND THEY CHARGED ME $1.95 for the small cup?! Like what?! Then the fried beans and rice was bland, no flavor. The salad was cheap iceberg lettuce thrown on a plate. Dont even get me started on the service and the location of the restaurant itself. Rude staff, long wait, and the to get to the restaurant its out of the way along with a strange parking lot. If I could give this place a 0 star, I would. All and all this restaurant has poor quality food, beyond bland, and not authentic Mexican food by any means. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME HERE! There is a ton of better options near by.

I came here to eat with my family. The waitress was inexperienced and terrible. We never got to eat. We waited over an hour for our food and finally left. Before we left, she kept checking on us asking us how everything was. It was really annoying because all we had were stale tortilla chips and salsa at our table. We were eating them anyway because we were so hungry. After the fourth time she came over, I finally asked her if she could check on our food. She refused to. SHE REFUSED TO. She said there was a party before us and that our ticket was in and it could be another half hour. We were already waiting about 20 mins at this point. This stupid girl looked like she was afraid of us. I dont know why because we were way too nice to her. After some time went by, her manager came over and apologized. He said it would only be a few minutes longer. We waited another ten mins or so when the waitress came back and asked again with a giant smile on her face "How is everything?" My brother said, "I think we are going to leave." She ran off looking scared again. Ok, again, nobody was mean to this girl but we had every right to be upset at this point. We kept giving them chances but after an hour wait, we finally left. To add to all of this, the empty table in front of us came after us and got to eat their food but we were never served our food. Its a shame. My brother kept raving about how much he liked this restaurant but none of us will be returning here. We were treated horribly and Ive never had such bad service before. If the owners are reading this, please treat your customers better.

If you like warm chips served with salsa that has a little heat and a lot of flavor, deliciously strong margaritas, and corn tortilla tacos stuffed with tender carne asada, fresh cilantro, and onions then this is your place!! My husband and I absolutely love Friacos. The staff are always friendly and respectful! Literally every meal we have had there has been great!! I cant say enough good things about this restaurant and their staff. We were recently there for lunch this week when they were short handed. If you are a decent human being, you know that things like this happen whether we like it or not. The staff did a great job of working together to meet the demands of all of their customers and within 20 minutes two other workers showed up for support. For having to deal with such a stressful situation the staff remained calm and collected. My drink never ran out (they refilled it 3 times) and they did not make us feel rushed. Our waiter even took the extra time to explain different plates and gave us tips on how to pronounce them correctly. To the angry troll that unnecessarily yelled at the poor girl who gave you cold water instead of hot, and who was clearly trying her best to seat customers and serve over 10 tables by herself, I would like to see you do better all while having a smile on your face. Just because you pay someone to serve you does not mean you have the right to be a horrible person.

This is your average Mexican joint but HOLY GUACAMOLE, the guacamole here is super yummy!! The decor here is that kind of over the top Mexican kitschy stuff that makes it feel like a Fiesta while you eat. The place is staffed with very friendly Spanish speaking folk who walk around with a constant smile. I ordered enchiladas that were on par with most Ive had before and I was very pleased with them. My friend had chicken fajitas which looked good and were served with tomatoes which I had never seen before. She enjoyed hers as well but felt that the fajitas were too over loaded with tomatoes. Lastly, my other dining companion ordered a custom dish of rice, cheese, and shrimp. Our server was very happy to accommodate and cudos to my friend on that choice, it was delicious.

Used to love this place until tonight. I called to place an order for pickup and was told to "hold on for one sec". The woman who answered set the phone down and walked off. I then sat for 7 minutes listening to employees talking before i got frustrated and hung up to try calling back. Now every time I call back I get a busy signal because i assume the phone is still sitting there off the hook. Its been a half hour since I called the first time. Ive tried 10 more times over that span and still no answer. Im never going to spend another dime at this restaurant simply because one of your employees couldnt take 3 minutes out of what ever the hell she was doing to take my order or find someone who could.

my husband and I ordered the Wednesday special, Friacos burrito and my daughter ordered the Friacos Hamburger. The food was bland, very bland. The burrito was covered in red sauce, lettuce and sour cream. The meat was bistek de bola, I ordered arracherra. rice and beans that come with the meal were.....okay. The burger had no flavor and tons of lettuce. It also came with came with a few fries. FYI: They charge for green salsa and red ( 1.25 each). the waitress didnt mention anything. horchata wasnt being blended as I could taste rice and cinnamon settled at the bottom. *****disappointed****
