Went through drive thru. I ordered 2 dinners for me and my husband. I wanted to also order boneless chicken nuggets or some type of chicken without bones, for my 2 chihuahuas. Girl taking order would not assist me on this order and was extremely rude. She said I could order 4 chicken nuggets (no sides) for $5.99, which was more than my full dinner. She said there was nothing cheaper. After not being able to get any help, I didnt order anything. When I drove around to the window, the girl and a man were standing together. When I stopped, both started looking at me, started talking back and forth and laughing hystericallly. The man finally walked off a short ways and then the girl opened the window without a smile on her face. I was certain they were laughing because I was trying to order something for my little dogs. I asked her about thinking it was so funny. She got an attitude and started raising her voice. The man caming running over and started yelling...trying to tell me that she was smiling at the customers....and if I didnt like it thats too bad. I told the man to not yell at me. I asked for the Managers name and he said he is the Manager. He said his name is Abel. I asked for his Regional Managers name and phone number and he told me...you can call 800 Popeyes. I asked him for the store number and he said if I wanted it, I could find it myself. The Manager acted more like a gang member than a Manager. The girl definitely was a gang member with markings and 2 other shaved head men in the store had gang markings. (Being in Chicago, you see a lot of gang members both former and current. I have had service from many that were very nice.) These people acted like the epitomy of the hostile gang member that you might see on TV. Back to my experience...After the man walked away, and he went down to talk to the 3 other male workers. They all kept laughing and looking at me in my car and went on for quite a while. I was sitting there at the drive thru and the girl finally asked me if I still wanted my order. I said that I did. She took credit card and I paid. As I was waiting for my food, another car pulled up behind me. The girl came to the window and told me that I was going to have to pull up and wait. After the behavior of the Manager, I was not about to let anyone working on my food out of my sight. In addition to that, there is no where to pull up...I had been here before and had to pull up, but it blocks the drive thru. (Once they move through the car behind you, you have to pull out and come back in or pull up then back up and then come back in). I told the girl that I was going to wait for my food there. She kept arguing with me and demanded 4 times that I pull up. I finally told her that I was not moving and if it was going to be a problem, we could get the police out there. She ran and told her Manager, the next thing I knew my food was out within the next minute. I noticed that I didnt have a receipt. I wanted proof that I had been there with the time to report this incident to the Popeyes Corporate Office in Atlanta. Plus, the store information that the Manager refused would be on the receipt. I asked for my receipt. This girl started arguing with me that I had been given a receipt. I finally got tired of her arguing and asked her to have a copy printed. The Manager came over and printed a copy and I was finally on my way. It will be the last time that I ever visited that location, unless there is a change in staff, management, and attitude. By the way, the food wasnt even worth any of this hassle.

My wife went through the drive-through and ordered our meal. We have never been to this location, but because she was driving through the area, she stopped by this location. The wife came home with the meal, and it was not correct. She called the location and was politely telling a man on the phone the situation, but got hung up on once she mentioned the word "mistake".. She tried calling back again, but got no answer. I called with my phone then, and I was politely explaining the situation to a guy who works there, and I got hung up on. I called back a second time, and spoke to the same guy (the Manager) and said that the call got "disconnected", b/c I didnt want to say "hung up" because I didnt want to get hung up on again. *** The guy told/lied to me that it wasnt him who was just on the phone with me. I explained politely the mistake with the order, and he (the Manager) told me that what I was complaining about was ridiculous. - I understand mistakes, and we just called to inform them. I dont like negative reviews. But when we get hung up on, and are spoken to rudely by the manager of the operation, then need to let it be known. We contacted corporate about this situation. We will also not be going back to this Popeyes.

We were having a corporate meeting and someone suggested Fried Chicken for Lunch. We looked on line and saw this No Aurora Popeyes close to our location so we decided to give them a try. We placed our order in person for about a dozen meals. First issue is they did not have some of the things that were listed on their menus online so we had to do a quick substitution. Then when we got our meals back to our office we were shorted one meal.. We called and reported this and were called liars. Then upon further inspection, we realized we didnt have all the sauces we asked for and no ketchup. So not only did we not get what we ordered but were treated very rudely and one of our corporate visitors had to go without a meal. He was probably the lucky one, though, as the quality of the food was fair at best. We work at a very large company and we will definitely pass this information on to all who even consider going to Popeyes.

Firstly, their computers were down and only accepted cash....had to go get cash. Second, ordered the ten piece meal with sides and biscuits....no problem....easy. Ordered a tender meal with drink...too easy. Told them I wanted fries and beans and rice as my sides and that I wanted no legs and to replace them with breasts.....simple...right? Got home and there was no drink, no breasts as they were all replaced by WINGs ( I paid extra to replace them with breasts), no fries either. Totally screwed up this meal and it cost far more then it should have. Made a complaint an the guy didnt understand anything I said. And these Jack Waggons want more an hour? Give me a break. The manager said I could have 2 breasts for free if I came back......stuff that. I am never ever going back to this place again and neither should you. This place is unprofessional and rude and the workers seem to want to be somewhere else. such a waste.
