2017 update: seriously, this place has amazing flavors and customer service! Go here for dessert! ******* This place is your hometown Ben and Jerrys! They had a great variety of flavors, as well as shakes and other desserts available. I snagged some salted caramel, chocolate chip cookie dough, and cappuccino. All three flavors were spot on! I had him give me the leftover of the salted caramel which wasnt really a scoop, and then one scoop of each other flavor. They give generous portions as I most definitely needed a lid! My husband requested a brownie on top of his ice cream and I had to sneak a bite-rich enough without being too much! The staff was quick and friendly, and the price was perfect. We paid just over $9 for what I would imagine might have cost us $15 anywhere else. Highly recommend, wish I lived in the area so I could go back!

Awesome. .if I could give this place a 100 star review I would. . The owners are so welcoming & the amount they give is more than enough ,great family place...I am going to edit my review because I have to let the owners know that there is a new place in the neighborhood called fizz.I can tell you that you have absolutely nothing to worry about when it comes to the new ice cream spot on Belmont called fizz.There is no comparison to sweet oaces when it comes to quality and quantity .If I had to guess the ice cream parlor fizz is not going to survive with the kind of prices and the amount that they give people...Whoever reads this review I can tell you dont waste your hard earned money .if you want your moneys worth make sure you go to sweet oasis...

I found out about The Sweet Oasis only a couple months ago, my family and I love going there for their Turtle sundae, soft serve pistachio and Blue Moon ice cream. In every instance they have had a large group of people come in, so you know its good place to go for ice cream. The ice cream is very delicious and their prices are beyond fair for what you get. I have to give kudos to the staff behind the counter they do a great job of making sure everyone is taken care of within a couple of minutes of walking through the door when they have a lot of customers coming in at one time. If you live in Norridge or in the surrounding area, it is well worth the stop.

Found this neighborhood gem a couple years ago and absolutely love Sweet Oasis!!! Huge selection of quality ice cream and fantastic services. Even on the busiest of days it is never to long of a wait for a sweet treat and the owners are super nice. I have taken alot of friends and family here and they all have been impressed too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND SWEET OASIS FOR YOUR SWEET TOOTH!

100% a Norridge go to. LOVE this ice cream shop. They know my family, especially my two year old, and treat us so well. Friendly and always make sure were good before we pay. Prices are better than baskin robbins and their location is much more convenient.

Used to be an old convenience store but it seemed to turn around. Great lil sweets parlor to invest in Diabetes. Popular when it opened and a favorite with the Gradeschool kids down the street. Big portions on thier specials.
