I grew up in Berwyn. (Well, I was raised there, the jurys still out on "growing up".) Tastee Freez has been a fixture there for the entirety of my life. And its kinda comforting to know that its still there, and a decent shake can still be had in this day of "Triple Thick" cups full of lousy, unsippable soft-serve. While I havent lived in Berwyn for years, I always seem to be able to justify a little side trip whenever Im in the area... My waistline may not thank me, but my tastebuds throw a hell of a bash when I go!

I came here the first time at 10am, a little sign in the window says they changed theyre hours to open and 10:30am. I came here the second time at 10:30 a.m., a sign in the window says they changed their hours to open at noon. I came here a third time at noon, the little sign in the window says theyve changed their hours to open at 1 p.m. this is really no way to run a business. I wonder what their ice cream actually tastes like. I havent had any yet.

When I was a kid, the food here was better than McDonalds! I can remember when there were doors... Lately, food hasnt been up to that highest level of quality, but the ice cream was great as always. I hope you stay open FOREVER!

Ice cream here is super good and the amount of items is surprising for a small shop. Lines are big tho for both ordering and waiting.
