I have a lot of issues with this place. First of all its expensive, the portions are small, food comes out luke warm most of the time and the service is terrible. Also, the owners are scam artists. They move from place to place after they get evicted for not paying their rent. They started out in Manhattan IL, stiffed the owner there, sued for back rent and breaking and entering then they moved to New Lenox. They did the same thing again, and now they are in their second location in New Lenox. I cant believe the owner or manager of that building didnt do due diligence. These damn foreigners come here and pull this crap all the time!! Avoid this place. Spread the word!

Under staffed or the waitress was just slow. Waited too long for coffee which should be the first thing offered when sitting down. Food came lukewarm. Poor temperature controlled environment. It was very chilly. Needed to check on us for drinks etc. My son wanted another milk and I told him forget it because it would take forever to get it. Lastly the cashier who I think is the owner never even asked how the meal was. I gladly would have given my opinion. She needed to take a happy pill.

Being new to the area, we were looking for a good breakfast restaurant. Our search is over. The food is excellent! The waitresss are wonderful. Being a coffee drinker I really like when a waitress will refill your cup, even when your not sitting at her table. If you like spinach and feta, get the Odessy, its great. Were definitely going back!

Loved this place so much that we ate here every morning on vacation. Food is fabulous and the atmosphere is inviting. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. Prices are excellent. Im going to miss this place, I wish there was one like it in my home town. I recommend this place to anyone who visits New Lenox!

My go to place for breakfast in the area. Like everywhere when its crowded things can not be ideal, as others described. However the staff is always friendly and 9 times out of 10 I end up with an amazing meal. I love the baked potato omelet and they have good gluten free options if you are not celiac.

Nowadays its understood that when someone suggests we go out for breakfast or lunch, the destination will be Mattina Cafe. The food is delicious and affordable. The staff is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. I would stick around to write more but Im off for breakfast.

This place is a joke! I called and was on hold for over 5 mins to place a Togo! I was literally on my way and she wants my credit card number to hold it! No thanks! So they allowed me to cancel my order because I will not give out my number for a 30$ order! Joke I will never try and eat here!

I love coming here with my brothers. Everyone is wonderfully friendly, and the food is always delicious. I really like the pineapple upside down pancake. The skillets are also delicious. And if youre craving something sweet, the honey donuts are amazing.

Awful service! The waitress and cashier should really consider careers NOT in customer service. The food was nothing special, if your looking for good cafe food youd be better off down the road at IHOP....and FYI I think IHOP is nasty!
