Disrespectful to the younger crowd, or rather the occasional person under 30 who makes the mistake of walking in the door. The atmosphere is nice enough but the staff has an undeserved air of arrogance around them like they are serving anything better than what you can find in the frozen food section of your local grocery store. Ive never had a place dismiss me so casually, seemingly just because Im "a kid". My girlfriend and I were just dumped in the corner and ignored most of the time we were there and when we finally did get our food, neither of us could stand to finish it. I had their "famous ribs" and Id have sworn just as fast that it was stale bread with bbq sauce on it. They advertise that their ribs have been the same since the 60s and honestly Im amazed no one has ever told them they should update their recipe a bit. This is definitely not a place Ill be returning to, nor somewhere I would recommend to anyone younger and/or with taste buds.

Just moved right down the street from this place and all I can say is WOW!!! The food speaks for itself... Everything I have eaten so far has been perfect and exceeded my expectations.. But the best part about the place is the entire Staff of employees there.... Everyone from the front of the house to the back of the house have all came up and introduced themselves to me and made me feel more than welcome... This is my new home away from home!!! I always heard about this place and remember going their as a younger boy with family but now I am their at least 3 times a week!! Thank you Peter for running such a great Restaurant and Bar!! Cant wait to come watch the Bears win the Superbowl up there this year!!! I would give this place 10 stars if I could!

I was just hear Saturday night January 10th, 2015>Probably 1 of the best ribs Ive ever had In my life along with very good bread, soup, and fries. All Staff & Cooks plus the night manager are very nice & made me & my friend feel like a home to this place. Maybe little pricey for some but It was very descent prices around My budget. Very great place along with a warm fireplace inside dinning room area. Would 100% go back here again

They say they are famous for their ribs, and although they are pretty good Ive had better. The best thing about this place is the atmosphere and the help. They are very nice and friendly and accommodating which is why I go out to eat anyway. By the way, ribs are a personal thing. Go check them out for yourself you may love them.

Good food. Staff was too attentive. Bussers were coming by and asking to take plates out of the way before we were even done with them. Normally, I really appreciate attentive restaurant staff but this was just a little much. Overall, not a bad experience though.

Food was fantastic, service excellent! Had the Tues special. Rib and shrimp stuffed with crab meat. Ribs were falling off the bone tender. The shrimp were the best I ever tasted. Dinner was moderately priced. Will definitely go back for those shrimp!

This is our "Special" place for dinner. My wife gets the barbecue ribs and I usually get the pork chops. I cannot tell you about the seafood because I am not a seafood eater. Oh...... dont forget to get the augratin potatoes!

Worst burger Ive had in some time. For what I paid it would be nice to get a real burger and not just a couple of McDonald like patties. I had heard for years how great this place was and I was terribly disappointed.

We left the area over 30 years ago. Back in town for a class reunion, went there for dinner with friends. The baby back ribs were as good as we remember, and the white fish was incredible. Very excellent evening.
