My wife and I just ate here for the first time, and we had a great meal! I had the fish and chips - and I love that theyve got tater tots as an option. My wife ordered the lobster roll, and loved it; its not your traditional lobster salad but its a nice roll topped with mounds of lobster, served with drawn butter... Yum. No shell cracking either :) The charcuterie plate is just NICE! Good pate, capricola, salami, pimento pub cheese spread, nice cheeses, a homemade de gardiner, bread and crackers. Escargot was spot on as well. They were busy and service was a little slow, but honestly the cool menus and array of beers on tap more than made up for the speed of service. Im looking forward to returning for the tv dinner nights myself! I recommend this pub wholeheartedly and I look forward to returning soon. The Kidnapped By Vikings beer on tap was nice and cold and fresh tasting. What a great place.

I have eaten and drank at Tribes probably half a dozen times. The food is outstanding with a really unique menu. They are definitely the number one alehouse for miles around. The service can be slow admittedly, but when you are as popular and busy as tribes is it gets tough. However, it is 100% worth the wait for a table and for the entrees, get yourself an ice cold craft beer, sit back and relax! I have taken many friends, acquaintances and business associates to Tribes and everyone leaves with a smile on their faces! Keep up the good work!!

This place is a hidden gem. The Mt. Gay Rum "Dark and stormy" was awesome. The entire menu looked good, but after trying the Korean tacos, (which were so freaking good!!!) Ill never know what the rest of the menu tastes like! Tater tots as a side option is always a plus in my book, and these did not disappoint. Had an after dinner cocktail as well... Mead. Its a must! 3 to choose from. Keep up the good food and service! I always believe in a little constructive criticism... So... The bathrooms could use a little work.

First time there and After a rocky start, it was good. Took me 30 minutes to be able to get a non-moving beer list to try some beer. Then they waiter never brought our appetizer/starter which we were really looking forward to trying. However, my firehouse burger was AMAZING and the two tyoes of beer I had were almost as good as my favs from abother brewery ; VERY CLOSE. To make it up the manager comped a round of my beers. Therefore, we just might try this place again. Heres to a smoother experience next time. Cheers!

It was just okay. Great beer selection but they ran out of pinot grigio which seems an error on an Oyster Bar Wkend. Appetizer menu good but preparation was so-so. Oysters were great though. Service was slow. Cool atmosphere though. The one issue we had was the owner or manager, a guy in his fifties was extremely unfriendly and we saw him roll his eyes a few times. Maybe he was just having a bad day but he seemed really irritated and his wait staff seemed to notice it. Kind of ruined the mood.

Tribes rules. At any given time they have somewhere near 60+ beers on draft. ANything from local breweries to international brews, Tribes has got you covered. The point of the place is to serve craft brews, but you can also find regular draft beer. GThe food at Tribes is also great, giving you the options of 4 different meats to create your own burger with for example. Food is home made and delicious. If you can look past the premium prices for premium iptions, Tribes is the place for you.

Stopped by Tribes for the first time tonight and was highly impressed with the quality of the beer and their facility. Its not the biggest place, but I found that Dave and Ben (the brewers) make an excellent variety of delicious beers. I loved everything I tried from their Kolsch, to their Brown Ale, to their fantastic Halcyon Days IPA (my favorite). I didnt have time to eat tonight, but their beer was good enough to bring me back another time to grab a few more beers - and some food.

Visited this evening with my husband and 3 kids. We didnt have silverware or plates until we asked for them after we got our appetizer. We waiting over an hour for our food and then my husbands was wrong. Since we had waited so long he asked for a to go box, we waited another 15 minutes. The manager did come over to bring the corrected meal but never said he was sorry. I was really disappointed. Will most likely never go back this was at the one in Tinley Park

Yes the beer is good. But let the bar staff know you had a problem with their food and so what. Order two or three Ruben Sandwiches. You will see that there is no poor quality control. My sandwich was over cooked and dry. Next to me was a moist pink good looking sandwich. Tell the bar staff and nothing accomplished. Never will I go there again, never an issue at the Tinley site.

I have been here a few times and each time Im optimistic when I walk in and disappointed when I walk out. Good beer menu saves it from 1 star. Service is slow and unimpressive. Food comes out slow and hard to get wait staff to come to my tables. I probably wont be back. For those that do find this place enjoyable, their lifetime deal is pretty awesome. Check that out.

Very poor beer selection, IPAs mostly. Poutine consists of week old stale potatoes you could break your teeth on. Cheese curds were so salty you could barely eat them. The Knob Creek was excellent, and would be my choice over any beer. We were there on a Saturday afternoon and all TVs had one college foottball game on. Many better choices of Pubs on the area.

I do love the food here. The buffalo burgers are enchanting. Service might be a little slow because theyre always busy, but the wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable about beer accompaniments. Its definitely NOT the place for an intimate conversation, because its really loud, but I eat there all the time, so that says something.
