This is a nice location, but it may not be the most ideal spot to bring your children. We were in need of a bit to eat as we drove home from the mall one night. We spotted this on Google Maps and saw that a reviewer mentioned great hamburgers (it was great by the way!). As we went in, it was clear that this was more a bar than a restaurant. I would go back to eat and have a drink again, but I am not sure if we would bring our kids to join us.

The bartender is great...however, if you go for the fish fry, do not share with your friend because then the all you can eat does not apply...the cook will refuse to give you more fish...so much for all you can eat...she is also not nice about it at all. So i payed 10 bucks for 2 pieced of fish, two potatoe pancakes and cole slaw...all good food that i would have liked to have more of, but the all you can eat did not pertain to me .

Lousey at best! Waited 45 min for the order of fish and its friday night all u can eat! Watched two other tables come in and get served drinkes and food after we showed up. The other two tables finished food and we still dont have food! She said we would be next! Paid for drinks and left!!!!!!!! Gerat burgers! Call in and pick up if you want it that day!

A weekly stop for my group of 4 or 5 for a year or more and even longer for myself. We have always been very satisfied with the food and service. Prices are very affordable and and the staff has always treated us well. Great specials everyday. Definitely worth your time to stop in for a simple snack or a full meal.

Yum-O! I LOVE the burgers, the onion rings, the home made soup, (pretty much anything Ive ever eaten here), the atmosphere and the service at The Spot in Marengo. Small town taverns are the best and The Spot does not disappoint!

No lie...best hamburgers ever! OMG great onion rings too! And dont know which bartender others meant, but ours was cute, blonde and could open a beer bottle like no other. Great meal and great people. California pair

The food was horribly overpriced. It cost my husband and I close to 40 dollars for two burgers and two drinks each. The burger was boring.

Great little spot to eat. The Jalapeno burger was huge and had the right amount of heat. The wall of license plates was interesting.

Its horrible the burgers are nothing special and Its not a friendly atmosphere. Dont bring children because smoking is allowed.
