This is a great little local coffee shop! The coffee tastes great, the atmosphere is clean and homey, and the employees were very kind and inviting. NWI has been in dire need of a good coffee shop. My wife and I have had to travel 45 mins for a good sit-down coffee shop that isnt Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts (which I hardly count as coffee shops). My wife and I both have worked in the coffee industry for several years and have become accustomed to craft coffee and we appreciate the artistry behind creating the different coffee beverages. Troost had a basic menu with lattes, mochas, iced and hot coffee, etc., but because my wife and I have found our taste preferences we asked if they made cortados (some of the other local coffee shops give us confused looks when we ask for that even though its a common drink to get in the coffee industry) and we were happy that they said "Yeah, we can make that for you!" (Even though it wasnt displayed on their menu). We found our new spot to get coffee and probably to sit and get work done at! Troost coffee displays all the things I look for in a coffee shop, a good clean and inviting atmosphere, a welcoming staff that is friendly but also knowledgeable about the finer coffee drinks, and the quality of the beverages are outstanding! Im giving them five stars because they are exactly what NWI needs right now and have become a spot where my wife and I will be frequently! Keep up the good work!

If your looking for a place to grab a decent cup of coffee- sweet or otherwise- this is the spot in Lansing. Owner and staff are kind and informative. Friendly and accomodating atmosphere (they have a room for kids, a changing table in the bathroom and a private room for reservation). I cant say much for their tea because I havent tried it. However, if you like coffee and live in the area, Troost is worth a visit.

Love going here and trying new drinks im not a big coffee drinker but I love exploring flavoring options with the mocha and the limonana and my son like the marbel hot chocolate. The service is great the Baristas are amazing and the caramel brownies are simply irresistible!

Ive been there twice and have been happy with both the drip coffee and cold brew. All the employees are nice and easy to talk with. A great place to stop by while bicycling -- the path is very near.

Friendly staff, open atmosphere, and a great iced mocha. Im not normally a coffee drinker, but combined with one of the best blueberry muffins Ive had in memory, Ill definitely be returning to Troost.
