We went for my birthday with a party of 10. We were crushed in a very snall corner and I know I was imposing on the couple next to me. The food was unremarkable. Most of the items were tasteless. Seven ate fish, two spaghetti, and one burger. The fish and spaghetti were without seasoning but the burger and fries were good. The portions were a good size and price was moderate. Our server was really good and that helped our scores go up.

Had a great breakfast here when passing through. Service is friendly but not fake, and the food is great. Lots of locals seem to come here, everyone seems to know each other, and people are also interested enough to start a chat with a stranger. The interior of the restaurant has an interesting Swiss theme, because, as the waitress told me, some Swiss people settled in the area a while ago.

This is a hidden gem tucked away in Highland, IL. The place is mostly open for breakfast and lunch. The portions are huge yet the prices are very reasonable. I had a combination of eggs, hash browns, sausage and pancakes. The bill was $10 including the drink. Service is good and attentive.

Best Breakfast between Lansing MI and St. Louis MO including Bob Evans. Great food, service and friendly locals. Well worth getting off I-70 to visit. Mandatory part of our trip from now on.

Good food! Visit 9th Street once a week for breakfast. Best breakfast in town! Wait staff very friendly and attentive. Clean, lots of local history on tabletop. Would recommend to friends!
