Consistently fresh & delicious, with an emphasis on service. During the summer arrive before noon to get the coveted patio seating. Island Cafe has the freshest, most delicious salad bar in the area, with a variety of Greek, Polish and traditional American soups. My favorites: for breakfast try the yogurt parfait, the ham or salmon eggs benedict, or the smoked lox plate; for lunch enjoy the Greek Sampler with homemade dolmades or a salad topped with feta cheese, caesar dressing, and seared tenderloin. Also available are a la carte and fresh fruit sides for lighter appetites. Check is usually about $9-12 per person; snappy casual attire is common.

Overpriced!! 4.25 for two sausage! Waited 30 minutes for our food and watched as people who came in after us received their food. The owner was our server and she made another server cry while she was on the floor. People had to clear their own table if they wanted a place to sit. Not worth the money or the wait!!

Very good food but as others have said kind of pricy for the north woods of Wisconsin We enjoyed our meal that was well presented with unique seasonings My wifes vegetable egg dish she said was full of veggies I had the biscuits and gravy while not my mothers gravy the biscuits were excellent

My girlfriend and I went in not expecting much but we were very surprised with how good the food was. Were both fans of ethnic food (its all Greek) so keep that in mind. The interior isnt much to look at but dont let that turn you off if you like Mediterranean food!

Terrible service at this restaurant. Perhaps because it is for sale? I do not know. It was such rude treatment that it was clear that our business and patronage is not important to this restaurant. Was actually a damper on our day. Mediocre food. Not worth a stop.

The breakfast was amazing! My picky toddler ate pancakes, eggs and hash browns with no convincing! Our party enjoyed the omelets and the cinnamon roll french toast! We will probably come back to Minocqua just to eat here!

Delicious organic toast, great cinnamon rolls, breakfast frittata hearty and served with potatoes and fruit. Would come here every day if I lived here. Great ambiance and service.
