For a place that was touted as the "local bar" by the client I was visiting, this place has been spruced up and revamped into a gem that must be visited when in the area. The service was attentive, yet not overbearing. I got the turkey burger and potato salad, neither which fell into the same-ole-same category. Baby purple potatoes accented the potato salad, and the turkey burger was slightly charred, but very tasty something on the healthier side of "bar food." Even with a Blackhawks *and* a Bulls game playing on the TVs at the same time, the TVs were watchable without being so loud and present that it felt like a sports bar and taking away from the conversations held at your table. This is our go-to pub. We havent had a bad meal yet - always good food. Definitely my favorite burger in the city. Other burgers might be fancier, but I prefer my burger to taste like a burger and be well seasoned & juicy without being over-salted or oily. Atmosphere is wonderful - relaxed & cozy. The back room can get a bit loud with big parties, but we can always find space up front in the bar, which we enjoy for watching games. And unless theres a huge game, the sound is low so everyone can watch the game and carry on conversations. But my favorite part is the extensive beer on tap list.

loved the décor, service on the mark. Started out sharing the lobster biscuits & gravy with my wife - rich and excellent. She had the Cuban sandwich with sweet potato fries (phenomenal) both of which were great but as mentioned the fries were exceptional. I had the Prime Dip - really good, made it a tad better by adding horseradish - with the sweet onion mashed potatoes - again really good, but mixed the rest of the horseradish into them for an even better experience. Highly recommend. Nice wine list too.

This place is a neighborhood gem, amazing updated upscale feel bar with a very affordable price structure. What compliments this place well is that the bar food have been redefined there isnt a local place for miles like this which actually can serve you amazing food to go with your drinks. Beer selection is commendable and always have couple of dozen beers on tap. Try the tater tots with the fried egg on top! Almost all appetizers are excellent pairing for what ever you are in the mood for.

This is my favorite bar on the north shore. Amazing beer selection (they get Zombiedust sometimes). The food is good, but overpriced. But thats par for the course in Glenview. Still, I would come here with friends once a week. They have some good specials, great drinks, and fantastic service. The bar tenders are all very nice people who do their jobs quite well. Overall great atmosphere and enjoyable place to meet a group for drinks.

The atmosphere was nice. I love the history of the building, but I was not at all impressed with the food. The salad was nothing more than average and the burger we ordered lacked any kind of flavor. Plus, $50 for a pretzel, salad, burger and some ice tea was a little much.

I came in starving with not much money and asked for cheese fries. Its not on the menu but they asked if I would like bacon bits with it. YES! It was absolutely amazing, highly recommend. Just ask for cheese fries with bacon bits, they will know. Its an employee favorite.

The staff was rude and the food was horrible and horribly over priced. Why would anyone come back to this establishment? Even my friends said they felt they were not welcome there because of the staffs behavior and stated they felt bad I picked up the tab!

Both food and drinks are ridiculously over priced here. Wish that wasnt the case since I grew up loving this bar. Wont be coming back until this place stops acting like a 5 star restaurant (which its no where close) and starts using normal prices.

Got the scallops with bacon at baconfest! It was amazing. It may have been the first thing I had, but nothing else I ate tonight could make me forget that delicious taste. I might have to head out to Glenview to check this place out.
