Rating of 1/3 indicates good Chinese food, but not amazing. Best thing and value on their menu is the appetizer sampler, although it is chock-full of fried things, its also tremendous. Never had a bad dish; never had a tremendous one either. Maybe Im spoiled by Rising Sun (Frankfort/Mokena) on food. Decor rating of 0 might be a bit unfair ... its a local carryout place, and not really designed for seated dining. Nothing wrong with it, but its pretty much a counter and a kitchen, nothing else. Service has always been great, prompt, and accurate. Would recommend to try at least once for anyone living in Frankfort Square, or in Frankfort off St. Francis Rd. Its close, quick, and good. We tend to order out from Rising Sun more often for Chinese, but occasionally go here if we want appetizers, or want to grab something quick because its closer. Its always a good experience. We prefer it over New Wok, and about the same as Sun Sun II for carryout. Never had lunch there, but agree with another poster that their lunch specials are well priced.

Very nice staff and helpful with the menu. Was outside with my toddler waiting on food lady brought it right to my car. Food was very decent and super close to home. Will be eating here again.. oh and the price is very good.

Looked for a Chinese place to try while visiting family in Frankfort Square, and this was the closest one. It turned out to be a good choice. The staff was friendly, the food was reasonably priced, fresh and pretty good.

surprisingly good. i normally get the orange chicken or sesame chicken, both spicy. their lunch specials are great--chicken fried rice, whatever meat, egg roll and drink for about 550. really nice people too.

I have ordered from New Hong Kong for more than 20 years and it is seriously the best Chinese food I have ever had. If this place were to close I would be very hungry. We order at least twice per month.
