My family and I went to this restaurant to celebrate my graduate school graduation, and we waited for nearly two hours because they "did not have a table large enough" for our group. Rather than making this work by allowing a couple of tables next to each other to remain open, they continued seating other groups ahead of us. They finally sat us at booths on opposite sides of a barrier wall so our group could not even have a conversation together during dinner. Despite our ridiculous wait time, my family again ventured out to this restaurant with a smaller group several months later. Guess what? We waited AGAIN despite multiple tables being open. By the time our group started getting restless, the host came over and explained to us that the servers simply couldnt handle taking another table yet because the restaurant was kept on a low-volume staff on Sundays. Seriously? I have served tables before, and where I worked, the servers hustled to get those extra tips. We ALWAYS sat tables; the managers did not let servers whine that they couldnt DO THEIR JOBS. Every time we have visited this restaurant within the last 12 months (about 3 times) the server has been ditzy, not know the specials, and not known which beers were on draft. Absolutely terrible service.

My wife, son, and I went to the North Charleston, SC location. When the server came, he spilled my wifes order on her seat. She moved fast enough to avoid getting food all over her lap. We had to wait another 20 minutes before the manager brought her order. When the check came, the bill listed her order twice, meaning that we were suppose to pay for the spilled order that wasnt our fault. I complained about it, and the charge was removed. We then submitted a $10 coupon with the bill, and the bill came back again with my wifes order listed twice again. But, instead of getting a $10 discount, we received a $10 and $8 discounts. This maneuver enables us to get a $8 discount from the total bill. I complained to the waitress again about it, and she stated that I was correct. I responded by saying, "why do I have to be correct twice?" I was so irate that just got up and left with my family, tipping the innocent waitress less than I normally do. In all of my life I have never heard of anyone being charged twice for something that the establishment spilled. The service was slow and the place wasnt even half full. I will never go back.

Shouldnt the people cooking the food in the kitchen be familiar with their own damn menu? I ordered the smoke stack burger. The first burger they brought out only had one pattie, certainly not the smoke stack. The second burger they brought out had 3 patties like it was supposed to but thats about as far as it went towards being the smoke stack. It was just a big bacon cheese burger with some onion straws No onion rings No slaw No pulled pork Nothing that would make it remotely near what I ordered. I just had then take it off the bill and left without eating as my family and 2 small children had long since finished eating by the time they got my incorrectly remade burger out and I left without eating since my kids were not only getting restless but needed to get home to bed for school in the morning. It would have been real nice to have been able to eat with my family and at moderately high prices, I really dont think its too much to ask to make sure the cooks actually know WTF theyre doing.

My husband, daughter and I decided to try out Smokey Bones for the first time on May 23, 2017 after someone from my husbands job recommended this place. Well, our experience wasnt all that great. The server Chad charged us for a ziosk which is ridiculous, he charged us for a side dish that was supposed to be included with the chicken fingers and couldnt remember to give my daughter her milk. The sodas were nasty, the food was bland, the area where we sat was really dirty and the service was extremely slow. Chad said the reason why it took so long for us to get our food was because of a "fire" they had in the kitchen. It took an hour after ordering for us to get our food. My husband had a Jack & Coke that was watered down. I tried it and it had more watered down soda in it to the point you couldnt taste the Jack Daniels. I had the Pop Star drink but after ordering it Chad told me that they are out of the Pop Rocks. It kinda pissed me off. $70 out of our pockets. NEVER again. We wont be returning.

First we went there to celebrate my grandsons birthday (he got to pick the restaurant). Our waitress was as cute as a button but waitressing isnt her strong suit. We sat and waited for 15 minutes before she even took our drink order. Then another 20 minutes till she too our order. My husband ordered a side salad she asked if he wanted it before or with his meal. Not only did he say before the meal, I said it and she repeated it. The salad never came and we had to have her take it off our bill. She was slow to refill our drinks and forgot one of my sides for which I had her put it in a to go container since I had to pay for it. Its not like it was busy there were only about 5 tables occupied in the whole restaurant and she had 2 of them. The food was good but pricey. For what we paid we could have gone to Texas Roadhouse for the same quality and gotten twice the amount of food. We wont be back.

Today we dine at the Fairview Heights location. I dont think we will be going back. Our server had a great personality, but was not attentive at times when it came to drink refills. The food Itself was not very impressive. Ordered the Pulled pork Sandwhich, a Burger and a Buffalo Dip. The pulled Pork sand had bones on some of the pieces and was very unremarkable. The Burger was done ok, but it was kinda of really just ok. The dip, much to our dismay wasnt actually a dip, but apparently its more of a throw melted cheese on top of some chicken strips and eat that with chips.. We were more disappointed with the food than anything. Weve been to the same one once before and waited 20 min for one drink, but i think after this time this place just doesnt really hold our attention enough to come back.

I have been here a few times. My most recent experience was terrible. We had a group of about 20 that came in to say farewell to a co-worker that was moving on. This place is huge and had plenty of seating. In fact, we were the only people in the place. Usually when in big groups Im a little easier on the service, but again we were the only people In the restaurant. Our service was awful. The water tried so hard to sell me on an alcoholic beverage, when I finally gave in, he forgot to ever get it for me. Their all you can eat wings promo was not good either. You get six wings at first (which took 30 mins to get) then only 4 more each round after that ( also takes 30 mins to get). Overall I have had multiple bad experiences here and will not be returning.
