This was our first time at the restaurant. The service was fantastic! The food came out right away and was delicious. I got the Macho nachos, my husband got the buffalo chicken wrap, one child had the silver dollar pancakes and steamed carrots while the other child had quesadillas with fries. We also got the ice cream dessert which was delicious . The portions were huge, and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I am giving the restaurant only 4 stars because the store restaurant manager or owner was not friendly at all and did not thank us for coming.

We have eaten at Colonial Cafe many times. Normally we dont like chain restaurants because the food and service is sub par. This is not the case with Crystal Lakes Colonial. We like the half sandwich and soup for taste and value . Mac and Cheese with pulled pork has thin fried onion rings on top - not old frozen ones that have been fried. They send you coupons for free sandwich on your birthday. Most selections under $11. Servers have always been especially nice. A best buy restaurant!

First time here. I had the Bistro Meatloaf and side salad. Excellent meatloaf. The mashed potatoes were the way I like it, no skins that I noticed or tasted. The salad was plentiful and had veggies. My companion had the best looking pecan waffle with strawberries and lots of whipped cream. He first wanted ice cream but relished the waffle. What a treat! Well be back.

I have eaten here only once. I walked in the door to smell musty/mildew smell coming from the HVAC system. The food was terrible. The chicken sandwich I ordered tasted like they needed to change the fry oil, and this was an early lunch time when I was there. The service was so-so and the whole place felt dated and overpriced. I will not be returning.

Every time I go it just seems to get worse. The service is hit or miss, and sometimes it really just sucks. Silverware, glassware and dishware have been noticeably dirty when served-even the waitress was disgusted once. The food is ok, not bad sometimes but with everything else it makes me nervous to eat it. We wont be returning.

Amazing customers services. I been coming very Thursday night with my family after our work out. Our favorite server is Jennifer.She is so sweet,friendly, and funny.She remembered our order.The food is yummy and even their ice cream.The manager is really nice and helpful.

Service is beyond slow. 10 min to get a coffee. Bacon is a joke... Cheapest crap, paper thin. The rest of food was really bad too. And to top it off, they missed half of an order. Do yourself a favor and go across the street to Richard Walkers

The waitress I had was very accommodating and made sure everything had everything they needed often. Also, the food was delicious and its a great cozy restaurant for a family dinner. Highly recommend this place and their Kitchen Sink!!!

Good food and service. You get a good amount of food for your money. Onion rings and sweet potato were nice and crispy, not soggy. Had the chicken cheddar panini which was very good. Server was very good as well.

This place is ok as long as you dont order anything that could be saved from the previous day, because it will have been. I am currently diarrheaing from the 2 bites I took of my soup before returning it.
