Our family of four (including and 18month old and a 5 year old) stayed at the Sheraton for 4 days over the July 4th weekend and had breakfast here on 3 of those days. The food was amazing with the eggs and potatoes seasoned and cooked to perfection with the bacon to just the right amount of crisp. You would think it would be enough to just have amazing food, but the service and the management seemed very interested in keeping everyone happy. I was particularly impressed by a gentleman there named Victor. I presume he was a manager or possibly the owner as he seemed to always look out for us and others in between coordinating the staff. His presence was more reminiscent of an intimately involved father figure in the store rather than a boss looking to impress customers. There was even a moment when we decided to eat lunch later in the day and we were wandering the building looking for the elevators to get to the Indian buffet in the floor above his floor with our kid/stroller. We told him thats where we were going and he randomly took time out of his day to direct us to the elevator (which is a COMPLETELY unintuitive experience, mind you) and badged us in with his card so we wouldnt have to wait for someone to come get us from the buffet. All in all, I would STRONGLY recommend that you try this place if youre in the area. The food is fantastic and the service is impeccable. This place is a gem. Thank you Victor!

I went to this place for lunch today. The waiter has not been properly trained, and is not a waiter at all. It seems like he was a former bus boy that was thrown into the position of waiter. After I was seated and presented a menu he came and took my order. He was not able to described anything. I told him what I wanted to order. He did not ask if I wanted anything to drink. I wanted a milk shake, but, was never given an opportunity to ask for one. A food runner delivered my food, and I asked him if they had milk shakes. He did not understand what I wanted. He did not speak English. After one minute the waiter came back when my mouth was full of food and put my check on the table, then immediately left, not saying or asking anything. He never returned after that. I wanted to order carrot cake and waited 25 minutes after I finished my meal, but he never returned to find out if I needed anything, or if everything was ok. I hate it when they give you the bill before you finish. The food was ok. The service was awful. When I told the cashier about my experience, she said she would talk to him. Ha. Why dont they hire waiters, instead of promoting bus boys and then not training them. I dont think I will ever go back.

Some of the best breakfast in Chicago. Fast, delicious and convenient! This is the perfect location to walk to or to drive to. There is plenty of street parking around the area and there is a decent indoor waiting area. The food is delicious and sooo reasonably priced! Ive yet to have anything I didnt like there and we take everyone there when in Chicago. They can get crowded at breakfast time, especially on the weekends, but it is worth the wait. The food and service is so fast that the wait is usually way less than what they tell you. Ive been told it would be 25 minutes and had my name called within 10. My suggestion: Grab yourself a free coffee while waiting in the hallway and your name will be called before you know it. Youll be glad you waited.

Showed up around 9:30am on a Saturday. There was a short wait for three of us even though it was a pretty busy weekend. One boy ordered the steak and eggs, one the corned beef hash, & I had the biscuits and gravy. Pretty much our favorite meals. Were pretty particular about our breakfasts, so based on the reviews, we were cautiously optimistic. It took a little bit of time for our food to come out, but we were all really satisfied. Although they only had pan fried potatoes (also called american fries) instead of hash browns, the waiter suggested we order them crispy, and they were great. I would have preferred a couple sausage patties or more than a single link with the biscuits & gravy, but everything else was great.

This is not the latest greatest brunch spot in the city rather it is a time tested consistently outstanding mom and pop diner (the owner is the host and very gracious) that serves breakfast and lunch daily and does so to near perfection, This is one of those places that is popular with both the locals and the tourists. There are waits for table on weekends but things move fast. The menu is huge and covers both traditional breakfast and lunch options as well as healthier choices. The portions are huge and the price is quite reasonable. And if coffee is an essential than you will love it when they drop off your own coffee carafe for immediate access to coffee. A breakfast must!!!

Food was as expected! We had the egg burrito which came with some potatoes. The potatoes were seasoned very well and burrito was made well. Our waiter sucked. He had energy but was way to cheeky. He didnt ask if we had question or if he can help answer questions. And he didnt listen to our order. He put sour cream on the burrito when I clearly said no sour cream! I mean the service sucked in my opinion and I work in retail and deal with customers all day! I will give them credit on running the place well. It looked like manager had a handle on efficiency! Great place for eggs dont expect good customer service.

We ate here this morning - 9/4/15. Food was good but nothing special. It came out way too quick to be anything other than ore made & microwaved or sitting in heat trays. Service was horrible. The people were nice but hard to get back once food is brought. Seated quick but once our food came the waiter never came back. We waited for our check for 10 minutes and decided to just go to the register since our waiter wouldnt stop. Had to have the bill fixed as we got charged for items we didnt order & we barely got a sorry for mistake. We wont be going back & will definitely stick to others in the area.

We went three times on our recent trip to the city. Two times we had to wait on the rest of our party to show up; one of those times being over an hour. Not once were we pressured to hurry up. Their chocolate chip pancakes are great and 2 were more than my 3 yo could handle. The traditional eggs Benedict was perfect, eggs perfect, hollandaise sauce perfect, ham perfect. And on top of great food and an awesome staff the food comes out quickly. They are on top of their game here. Love it!
