I wish that I could give them no stars but I had no other choice. First and foremost, I only ate here because they were on Chicagos best and boy was that a bad choice!!!! Their gym shoe sandwich was a waste of my money. No other way to put it. Ive had one from Andys on 79th and Ashland that was delicious but the one from here was good enough to eat only because I already paid for it. Im so disappointed that Chicagos best recommended here

Broad menu with great selections. It was actually clean for a convenient greasy spoon spot. Way different from back in the day when I visited this place. Was drawn to it because its 24 hrs. and was close. The food was fast and i actually enjoyed it. Ill mos def give this place another try, the extended menu had some gr8 choices so ill be trying some things in the future.

Ive NEVER been more disappointed in a restaurant. I called in an order after work. I wanted 6 steak tacos. Didnt get the total until I got there. They charged me damn near $30 dollars!!! Where in the HELL do they do that at??? Then they put AMERICAN CHEESE & stuff that wasnt even as good as what u make at home! They wont be seeing me anymore!

goodto great food. Would eat here all the time. Growing up when there wasnt much food in the house my friends and i would mozy along down to Stoney sub. Great food!!! If you have never te here or are skeptical, i reccomend you try the "Gymshoe". you cant go wrong... and salt, pepper, mild sauce on the fries. Personal favorite

The Gym Shoe is awesome, there is really nothing like it, and their Chicken Wings are really good, especially fried hard! Add a little salt, pepper, lemon pepper, and hot and mild sauce, and their wings will taste better than most Harolds!

The King Jim Shoe is an absurd amount of food for what you pay. I didnt eat anything else until breakfast the next day. Decent food in a part of the city severely lacking independent restaurants.
