The last time I stopped by here about a year ago the food was OK. Unfortunately things havent changed since then. On both occasions I bought a steak burrito. The meat is fried and not grilled on an open flame. If prepared by the latter method it would be considerably better. I would of preferred to select ground beef when a Mexican restaurant cant grill their food. However, upon close review of the menu seems they dont offer it. By all means my review is not a condemnation of the establishment. In terms of effort and customer service they are fine, and without trying other items cannot give them a negative review. My assessment is blunt to suggest what they can do to improve. To be honest there are several places within the vicinity that offer a better burrito at a cost around $6.50. If they can provide something comparable I would frequent much more often.

Great people, good food. Authentic Puertican food. They have really delicious sandwiches. The steak and chicken sandwiches are really good (they press the sandwiches on a hot grill which gives a nice soft crisp touch). Recently the prices have went up a little on the food items. They used to sell lottery but since the renovation they stopped doing selling it.

There are so many amazing Mexican food joints in Chicago. This is not one of them, but its good and pretty fast. 4 stars because the steak they use is really high quality. I recommend carne asada fries.
