I had planned my birthday party to be at Pizzeria Deepo. I have had takeout from this place many times in the past and really love their pizza. I made a reservation for our party (17people) a couple of weeks in advance where I reserved the back patio space. I also called earlier during the day of the day of our reservation to confirm that we would have the back patio as well as to order all of our food ahead of time. They confirmed with me that we did have the patio as long as it didnt rain at least an hour ahead of our reservation. It didnt rain the rest of the day from the time that I called. When I showed up 20 minutes prior to our reservation the waiter showed me that we would be sitting inside. I told him that I had reserved the patio and would prefer to have that space since I had reserved it. He told me there was another group on the patio but would move us there as soon as they were done, and they would be finishing up within 20 minutes. The reservation was for 7pm, we sat and waited at another table that was too small for our group for an hour! During that time our waiter never came up to the table and asked if we wanted anything to drink or if we wanted any appetizers or anything. We were completely ignored. I must have inquired about the back patio 5 times from when we got there until we finally were seated in the patio at 8pm an hour after our reservation. We finally moved to the patio and found that the tables were still not cleaned and there were still lingering guests from the previous group. My wife actually went and grabbed a cloth to clean the tables for our guests because the servers were really non-existent. Is it acceptable to have to bus your own table at a full service restaurant? NO!!!!!! I had to keep getting up and going to the front counter to ask for sodas and plates and cups and even water. I thought it was a common thing that when you sat down the wait staff would quickly bring plates and at least water even though they are BYOB, they do have water and soda fountains. I had ordered ahead of time and it took until 8:20 for the servers to bring out the salad. 20min for a salad that was ordered ahead of time? Unacceptable!!!! I must have gone back to the counter 5 more times having to keep asking for our pizzas to be brought out. We didnt get our pizza until after 8:30 and this was after I had ordered ahead earlier during the day. Every time before we sat in the patio they told me the pizzas were ready and that they would bring them out right away when we sat. Then when we sat down, they told me they were putting the finishing touches on the pizza!!!! What the heck is going on here. There was no manager that I saw that was around, and if they were there they must have been in deep hiding. Once the pizza came out that was the last that I ever saw of our waiter. I had to go back up to the counter to even see about our bill. Suddenly as we were finishing up, two waiters appeared and were in high gear cleaning up after us, almost shooing us out! This was the worst service that I have ever experienced in my life, I was appalled and frankly it was embarrassing for me as my guests kept wondering when the food would be coming and especially when we had to wipe our own tables off! This is awful. I love the pizza but they will never see another dime of my money because of the way my guests and I were treated. Poor service. Lies about reservations, they gave our table away even though I showed up 20minutes early for my reservation! No wait staff that was in anyway helpful, I should have just had the party at my house, but that was the whole idea to take my family out for a nice night! Come on get it together! Dont go here if you ever want decent service. I will not be back ever! I love to support small businesses and we typically go to non-chain restaurants but this place should be shut down!

This place has excellent Deep Dish pizza in the style that true Chicagoans will appreciate. This place is for the most part a one stop shop, so if deep dish pizza isnt your thing, you wont find too many other options. For everyone else, though, I can recommend this place without qualification. Another reviewer on google has complained about the service for his large party of 15+. For my part, Ive gone here many times with 4-8 people and have never had any issues.

This place is definitely worth visiting. The restaurant is in a cozy little neighborhood by the train. Makes you feel like your in a small Wisconsin town on vacation. The pizza and hot wings are very good. The closest tasting pizza Ive had was Pizzeria Duo Downtown Chicago but that place is horrible to get to. The outdoor courtyard with the ivy covered walls is unlike anything Ive seen and you can bring your own beer or wine. No charge for uncorking!

Absolutely horrible service. Sat down around 4:50 and tried to leave at 7:10 because we still did not have our pizza at our table. When we tried to leave they charged us for food we did not receive and were very disrespectful. We were there for over 2 hours with no food. No other tables in the restaurant were eating either. Im not sure if they were having a bad day but either way they handled the situation very poorly. Customers are always first.

Their pizza was amazing. I am a huge Lou Malanatis fan, but I honestly think this place is better. When I was there last night, it was not crowded at all. I was surprised by this because their food is great. Their menu is small/simple, but its a smaller business, and their pizza is so good that you do not need a wide variety of items on the menu. The service was good, and the restaurant was clean.

Their deep dish is really fantastic especially considering it isnt a chain. The crust is buttery and crunchy and their toppings are always fresh. Theres only one thing...if you order pick-up...add ten minutes to the time they tell you....unless you like to wait. Thats fine with me. Do whatever you want. They are always ten minutes late on the pizzas.

We love their deep-dish sausage pizza. The crust is amazing, buttery, crisp on the outside with the right amount of chew. This is local Chicago pizza at its finest. It is made hot to order and it is definitely worth it. To be honest, we rarely order anything else.
