Great food! However I have never received such terrible customer service in my life. I am not one to leave reviews, but after what Ive experienced today, I had to let it be known. Ive been ordering from them for a few years now, but a while ago they changed their ordering system and things have gone completely downhill ever since. A few months ago I ordered some cheese enchiladas, and they arrived with the wrong item. I called and they asked me if I wanted them to come again with the correct item, and I said yes. They informed me it would take about an hour, which I was okay with. An hour had passed and I had gotten a call from them and they asked me if I still wanted the enchiladas. I said yes, thats why I called you guys back in the first place. They told me that theyd be sending someone here in about 45 minutes. Keep in mind, they said they would already have someone by now. So I waited. 45 minutes, still nothing. It took two hours to get my meal after the second phone call. I had to wait a total of three hours to get my correct order. When it arrived, I didnt get any apology, only ridiculed by the delivery man saying that I didnt order the way I was supposed to, when it was the lack of organization of their menu in the first place that caused this chaos. And this was only the first time. Today I took a shot and tried ordering from them again. I made sure to include in the special instructions what I needed so there would be no mix up like last time. About 20 minutes later I received a call from them, and the man on the phone told me he is unable to deliver my order because I was outside of the delivery zone (despite the fact that Ive ordered from them numerous times). When I brought this to his attention, he told me it was busy, and it was during the middle of the dinner rush and things of that sort. Irritated and annoyed, it was fine, I understand that these things happen. I asked if they were going to refund me my money. They said that I, myself, had to call the ordering company they use directly. Personally I think that as a business, they should be able to take the initiative to give me a refund themsleves. With all of this, I was ticked off and asked to speak to the manager (yes, I really became that person), and they told me that the manager was busy. I asked if I could leave my phone number, that way he could call me back because the service I was receiving was unacceptable. He continued trying to argue with me, and as I was ensuring that I would get a call back from the manager, he hung up on me, mid-sentence. I was in disbelief. I loved this place so much, cause they were the only place I could find some vegan cheese enchiladas, but this was the final straw. No business should ever have the audacity to treat devoted, paying customers with that lack of respect that I received today.

Im a bit torn on this place. It really used to be one of my preferred spots a few years back and had a chance to go again recently. Over the past couple of years the food has apparently gone downhill unless I hit them on a really bad night. The nachos arent what they used to be though the skirt steak and tacos are still decent. The chips & salsa have always been fantastic. The service (well service unless you are at the bar as everyone there was getting taken care of rather quickly) seem to have slowly been going downhill. Its not that theyve gotten rude or anything. The staff is still extremely friendly. Its just really slowed down. (Maybe its just whatever is causing the lower quality in food has slowed down the kitchen in general and is the problem?) I dont know. All I know is that its just not as good as it used to be. On the flip side if you are going to drink you are going to be pretty happy. The bar has always been quick on keeping its patrons happy and that doesnt seem to have changed. . The sangria and margarita pitchers? Well those are awesome. The outdoor and indoor setup is great and is one of the things I love to see at more restaurants.

First off, I love mexican! So, generally I leave happy, but if your guacamole isnt goof or your sangrias dont have me stumbling home, there is something wrong there! BUT NOT HERE! I am so happy one of my favorite Mexican restaurants is right around the corner from my pad. Its small and quaint and exceeds expectations all the time. I have brought friends here and they still talk about how great this place was! Normally, I will get the enchiladas, however sometimes I mix it up with the taco platter. The chips & guacamole is also a must for every occasion. I havent tried the margaritas here, Im more of a sangria drinker and the sangria is definitely on par here! Lets just say I was feeling good! I will be happily going back!

My favorite is the Tortilla soup. It is so filling, it is enough for a mea by it self. Mon-Friday from 2-4pm they have 1/2 off appetizers. Its worth it to go if you are available at this time but I never get out of work early to take advantage. Each day they have different drink specials as listed below: MONDAY - Margaritas 19oz $5 TUESDAY - Sangria 16oz $3.50 WEDNESDAY - Well Drinks $4 THURSDAY PALOMAS $3 & TEQUILA SUNRISE $3 FRIDAY - Long Island 16oz $6 SATURDAY - Sangria Pitcher $13 SUNDAY - Bloody Marys $4 Overall pretty good place to grab a drink and appetizer before you head off to an event in the south loop or soldier field.

Been to La Cantina hundreds of times and Im always satisfied. One of my favorite South Loop locations. Its really good in the spring and summer where you may luck out and grab a seat out in the little patio area because its not the biggest establishment. But that the food is always excellent and very reasonably priced. A taco/burrito dinner runs around 8-9 dollars and the portion size is pretty large. Drinks are always on point. They have drink specials running on their website Mon-Fri so Id recommend before you go, check it out.

This restaurant was very delicious!! We were a group of four and we went in with low expectations. The wait was 25 min but understandable simce the restarant is small, which is the only downfall of this restaurant. The place is small but the food is so good. You really get what you pay for. The dishes are well served and we had a pitcher of sangria for $14. I definitely recommend this place and i will come back. The location is ideal for people looking for something close to downtown without having to go to Pilsen.

I have never been so disappointed in service. I only stayed because my friend invited me out. First, we waited for 30 minutes as the waiter & waitress walked passed us and served others around us. Second, we were the only ones who had to submit a form of payment outside which could presumably imply that black men wont pay or steal. Next, the famous margaritas were not ideal at all: wrong alcohol, not filled to the top, etc. Finally, we didnt get water until 45 minutes into the meal.
