One of the worst experiences Ive had in a while. The food was overpriced, especially for what it was, but as if thats not enough to drive away business, they really hammered the nail in the coffin with poor service. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich, thinking i was gonna get somewhat thinly shredded, bbq sauce smothered pork. I realized within a minute of ordering the sandwich, they neglect to tell you that it comes with coleslaw, only on the take out menu it lists that, so i request no slaw, a man, nonchalantly responds, "He already put it on" And that was that, no offer of any way to fix, I asked, "Is there alot on it".. No response. At this point, im very disappointed and just wanted to walk out without the sandwich, just to make a statement, but, i needed to eat asap. So, i leave, and get the sandwich home to find soggy fries, dry (already cold) huge chunks of pork, served on a generic burger bun. They couldnt even scrape the cole slaw off. The portion, for $10 is definitely to small. And to boot, i only ate half the sandwich and am already starting to feel very unsettled in my stomach. I do not recommend this establishment,

I normally am very satisfied with the food here but on 10/31/2015 this was not the case. I ordered a large rib tip over the phone. I picked up my order within an hour and was very disappointed. Some of the rib tips were old and burnt and some were juicy and tender. I was so displeased that I had to call and complain. The guy that answered the phone apologized and stated I could bring them back but I couldnt make it back there (got a ride from a friend) and we got off the phone. In the future I will mention this if I decide to order again because like I said before out of the 4 times Ive purchased from them this was the only time I was completely unsatisfied.

If youre looking for barbecue on the North Side of Chicago, theres really only one place to go. These vets of the West Side BBQ scene have been quietly dominating Western Ave. with their Arkansas-style aquarium smoker for several years, turning out ribs, tips, fried chicken, and some other meats, as well as good sides (fried okra!). Tell Robert you saw em on Check Please!, and then get what I always order, the rib tips / hot links combo.

Instead of going to my usual spot I thought I would try Honeys, this was a mistake! The meat wasnt tender, it did not have a smoke flavor(as on a grill) ,when did you cook those fries? I asked for a large order of rib tips, no links. I know I should have check my order and thats on me.your large order is considered a medium at the other place and cost less. Fool me once!

I was very disappointed with the rib tips part of them were dry and most of them wasnt done. With the rates that was given to this place I thgt they would be the talk of the neighborhood the fish was good but very expensive for the small amount that they give. I dont think I will eat there again unless they do some changes.

Awesome quality tasting BBQ and BBQ meals. Btw, customer service is pretty good. This is the only BBQ joint I know in Chicago that will have your order ready within 10 minutes. Very convenient. The food and price is definitely worth it and I definitely recommend Honey 1 BBQ to anyone who loves BBQ.

Worst Ribs ever !!! I will never go back there. The ribs were so tough, It was like chewing jerky...i cant speak on chicken wings or any othet item....But the ribs were terrible....and there was too much pink in them so they were definitly Undercooked....a waste of $12.00 Bucks.

My first time hearing about them and trying them out highly disappointed me. I ordered a small tip/link combo and i traveled all the way back home just to notice that they gave me a small link. On top of that, it was cold like it just came out the refrigerator!!!

Barbq was great! Service was fast. What it is Even better, was the Fine Brother behind the counter that took my order... Lord Have Mercy!! I always go there whenever Im in the neighborhood, just to look at him...

Simply best BBQ tips links and slabs in the city. The flavor is smoked in, but to pass on the homemade sauce is a crime. This is not the boiled till it falls off the bone style, but still toothsome.

The ribs were very tender, the sauce is ok the mild is kinda spicy. They do need to pay attention to the customer though I paid for extra sauce on my good and it was given to me in a cup.

Customer service is great wish they took debit or credit but they do have a convenient ATM in the lobby only a dollar fee, food is always good really no complaints about the food.

We love this place! The sauce is fantastic, and the employees/ owners are super friendly. My favorite dish is the fried shrimp, but the hot links and wings are equally amazing!

Nice people but low quality food. Ribs were dried out and without much meat. Coleslaw was not tasty. Decor was like McDonalds. Famous Daves BBQ is sooo much better.

Its good but they real cheap on the sauce, my girl even ask them for extra sauce and I swear I found at least 4 to 5 ribs with no sauce on it at all.

I live around the corner and refuse to take this place for granted. I get the brisket about once every other week (at least!). The tips are good too
