this place is just sucky I called in my $30 order okay so the girl says 30 min to pick up alright so I gave them an extra 10 min cause I know they be busy anyways I get there it wasnt busy at all there was 3 customers in the lobby I wait in line for about 10 min and just to mention it was only one customer she was taking care of that was infront of me so I get to my turn to tell her my name for my order that I called in she looks around and acts dumb like nobody called in so she says wait 1 second she goes to the back and comes back after 2 min and starts asking me what you order so I tell her while she is ringing me up I ask her is it ready she looks at the register and says yes so me im a tru hustler knew what time it was she was going to take my money and have me wait for who knows how long st8 dummy I swear I looked at her and said wait one second I have to call my boss to see if he wants something else so I went outside went in my car and took off very very very very bad they truly suck and im a person who eats in downtown all the time I just wanted some turkey tips shame on them

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE...I called to place an order...the young lady asked me can I hold for a minute, without even waiting for my answer, she laid the phone down. I was on hold for 11 minutes, she took 7 orders, called 10 people numbers to pick up their order, and had a conversation with the staff, but never once came back to the phone. When she did pick up the phone, she just hung it up....I called back, she did the same thing, can you please hold and just dropped the phone on the counter top, and continue to talk to staff. Either hire someone just to take orders or just dont take phone orders. I wanted to rate as a Zero, but since Im forced...Ill give a 1.

Terrible customer service. I asked the girl behind the counter a question and she only gave me an attitude for asking. Wait time was too long. They took the phone off the hook so we couldnt call it in. Another customer who was able to call hers in, had been waiting 1 hour since her call. Several customers left without ordering because the girl would walk away from the counter and took so long coming back. I know this is a no frills restaurant but between the attitude, the hot waiting area and the flies and bugs biting me as I wait, I dont know if its worth it. Ill just have to find another BBQ spot.

I visited this restaurant 2 nights ago around 10:15pm. The wait time wasnt too bad maybe 10-12 minutes. Once I got home the food was great, I ordered a tip and link combo. The following morning I woke up feeling like I was on my death bed, went to the emergency room and I had been food poisened. Im unsure if it was because it was near closing that the food wasnt being prepared properly but thank god my one year old refused any meat and only ate a couple fries. Its now Thursday and I am still in bed, headache, light headed, chills, diarrhea, and vomiting. This has been the worst experience ever.

If I could give them negative stars I would they mess up my order Gave me tips with No BBQ sauce and didnt put my wings in my order after returning to the restaurant they refused to put BBQ sauce on my tips even tho they made the mistake and didnt want to give me the chicken with sauce on the side saying I had to agree to have sauce on all of my food if its in one container they couldnt give me my mild sauce on the side. I told them I would never come back to this place and there Manager Kiana Williams has a Horrible attitude I wouldnt let my dog eat out of this place

This I-57 normally has the best ribs in town. I bought a bucket last night and got home and they were tough. I called back to the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager. The young lady on the phone said she was the manager. I then told her that the ribs were tough. She simply said that we try to cook our ribs as tender or as well as we can. She did not offer any apology or any way to make the situation better. That is horrible customer service. This is where I go to cater my events. They wont have to worry about me any more.

I normally go to Chicago I-57 Ribs... I visited this location on Sunday 8-3-2014. I purchased a small turkey tip and 7 wings & a slice of caramel cake. When I tell you I stopped to check my food before driving home (I live 10-12 miles away). I was so amazed with the order being hot and fresh. I asked for the sauce to be spicy and it was done perfectly. I would have to say if they continue to cook and serve like my first visit to this location you cant be disappointed. Oh the caramel cake was just as ridiculously good as well....smile....

First off this is Chicago bbq which means the menu is limited. Chicago isnt known for bbq so youre not going to get brisket, bologna, pork butt, shredded pork none of that. Chicago bbq is ribs rib tips hot links THE END oh and sauce on everything. But I57 is a notch above Chicago bbq tradition they offer turkey tips and turkey links and boy is it tender nice smoke and flavorful. Compared to other Chicago bbq spots in various neighborhoods I57 ranks the best. Its carryout only and they do accept credit cards for purchases of at least $10

The food is very tasty , I mean very good, I left kennys ribs for my I 57,,the people is rude, the lady that answer the phone, met the cook couple times he was nice, he did say it was best to call your order in first before 8:00 pm, just a little in site,,,,,, I hope the owner read there review,,because his employes should be more nicer to there customer thats what KEEP THEM A JOB,,,,,!,,,,5 star,,1/2 for people services,,,,,l I hope this help you,,,,,

This place is known for its barbecue sauce. The wait is ridiculous for your food. And when you do get your food home sometimes the chicken wings look like baby chicken wings fries arent all the way cooked and its really just disappointing I dont spend money there I was taking there if I were you I would spend my money somewhere else these people do not deserve me so Im letting you know its a disappointment they dont deserve you and your money.

Maybe its because I am used to inner city bbq joints but all of the good spots have a long wait time. I have never had a time when ive been here where the food wasnt worth the wait. Ive seen bad service and their service is no worse than any place else with a similar type of atmosphere. Just dont order from here if you are trying to get home to watch the game. You wont make it. Food is awesome though.
