Worst service, rude, and down right inefficient!!! Walked in sat ourselves at the bar not even a hello when walking in. Sat at the bar for over 10 min with not one person acknowledging us once. There was an order that came off the printer for a drink an employee walked back made the drink never once asking if we had been helped and said hi to all the employees eating their lunch at the bar and the tables but didnt even make eye contact with us. Another couple came in 5 min after us who got their drinks and menus first thing at the Hibachi grill. We looked around waiting for at least a menu and someone to acknowledge we were needed help and never once got any eye contact even. As we walked out very frustrated with our service there wasnt even anyone there to ask for service after aost 15 min we walked out! All of the employees on break were helped promptly while we just waited with no help! Worst service ever very rude how we were ignored! We would of spent at least $100 there but I wouldnt give then a dollar for a bowl of rice!

My family and I attended your restaurant last night and I was very displeased. The service was slow and the chef seemed confused. I ordered my steak rare, and even though I tried to politely mention he was over cooking my steak, he handed me 5 small pieces of the most well done steak Ive ever seen. I was sitting on the end and I think he forgot about me, because I didnt receive any vegetables that come with the meal. When he served the salmon it was cold and raw in the middle. Whats worse was there was a lovely couple sitting next to us that ordered salmon that didnt even get theirs! The chef totally ignored them and left without giving the man his food. We finally got ONE refill on our drinks as they were handing us the checks. We spent over $140.00 at this place and Ive had better service at a Taco Bell.

Ive been to many Asian Grills, and this is one of the worst. This was my third and last time coming. Me and my girl came and sat at the end of the grill each time we came and we always realize that everyone always got extra at the end accept us. Typically there is extra food at the end like vegetables and rice. We never got served extra. I dont know if it was about our race or what but it happened consistently. I have always tipped well so i couldnt understand. On top of that they got our bill wrong, charging more than what we ordered. They are also pretty pricy and to not respect your customers regardless of race is wrong. I only can conclude that they are racist. I will never go there again .

I have been here several times and have sat at both the regular tables as well as the hibachi grill. Both scenarios were favorable as I enjoyed the same delicious sushi whether here or there. The rolls are fresh and the presentation, especially for the special rolls for the most part, is impressive. Service has always been on-par as with any other restaurant. The venue is on the larger size with two separate dining rooms with at least 5 hibachi grills for multiple patrons to sit at. Hibachi seating is first come first serve so you may be elbow to elbow with strangers if thats not your thing.

Our wait to be seated was rather long. Lots of people scurrying around but no one acknowledged us for some time. One guy finally came then said "just a minute". Never saw him again. Once we were seated the waiter was slow to come. The hibachi chef was amazing! Very entertaining. The food was delicious and more than enough. The waiter (kaiKai) never came back to check on us at all. When he brought the bill he still did not ask about our experience. I had to ask him for a drink refill. I would go back for the food but the waiter should be more attentive.

We were party of 2 and seated at hibachi table for Lunch at around 1 pm, I ordered food and patently waited half an hour but the grill even hadnt started, so I ran out of patience and asked waiter whats going on. She said the grill wont started until the table is full of people and thats how business is running here, I was like wtf it was almost 2, and I have been too countless hibachi places in many countries no one works like this. Anyway finally we started the grill at 2, I was so mad and I swear to god I will never be this place again

I love the food here, esp the sushi rolls. However the complete dinners are quite good also, especially the fish dishes. Not much Oriental food to compare it to here in C-U, but this place is definitely one of our favorite restaurants here. I have certainly never once experienced the poor, much less rude, service some have commented on here. Staff has always been cordial and friendly. Waitress even always knows which table my friends and I want!

Eaten here many times over the course of a year. The sushi is reasonably priced and always delicious. The hibachi is entertaining and tastes great as well. It is a bit more on the expensive side (around $20 per person but can be more) but you get plenty of food for your money. Wait times to be seated is usually low and the staff have always been very friendly. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat in Champaign especially if you like hibachi.

Weve been here twice recently, and had great sushi both times. Prices are fair, especially the 3 rolls for lunch. Our first visit it was a weekday lunch, and the business was VERY slow. There were only 3 tables total. Service was great though. The most recent visit was a weekend lunch, and it was busier but still not packed. There were plenty of people doing the hibachi, which we have not tried yet.

I was treated very rudely before I even picked up the order I had placed online. I had gotten a voucher for use in their restaurant, unaware that it was for dine in only. Instead of just informing me of this, I was yelled at over the phone for even trying and basically called stupid. I will not be going back to that place as there are many fine places to eat in Champaign-Urbana.

Worst service EVER!!!! We were sat down at one of the hibachi grills, waited for almost 20 minutes to get drinks and then we wanted sushi and we didnt get that until our meal came!! They only came by a couple times. Weve been here quite a few times now and every time its the same thing, a ton of workers but no service!!!! We NOT be going back!!

We waited over 15 minutes after we had been seated and not one employee acknowledged us. Service here is horrible. The food is nothing special. You can get better sushi at the Meijers behind the restaurant. After we left we called the manager and explained what happened and he could have cared less.

I ordered 5 handrolled rolls of sushi here, and only after getting them did i realize i wanted normal rolled. They were very generous and took the order back and made me the normal rolls wothout charge. On top of that, the sushi was delicious and cheaper than ko fusion. I would recommend Oishi to anyone.
