The food was good and the service very good... so why ONE star? They think, (they didnt know a specific answer) their capacity is around 250 and you can add staff to that number as well. In the only mens room there is one urinal and one stall. I had to wait about 5 minutes for an employee to finish his business while he also changed into his uniform and another employee waited about 5 minutes for me to finish my business when the restaurant was maybe 20% full. Are you kidding me? In a community with a concentration of kids and the elderly this issue will only be magnified. Our very nice server empathize and said its been a common complaint. I highly suggest you fix this.

Seriously, the best in the business! Every time I come here, I am more than happy. Now if they could only please put one in Cary, Illinois??? Troy, my server, could be maitre d at a five star restaurant. An extremely well-spoken young man. Everyone else here is also very friendly. Food is always perfect. I dont know what else I can say, except you must go here for breakfast if you want the best. Side note, I would like to see a green smoothie on the hard menu.

What happened to the old Egg Harbor @ Barrington? New location - Seating area towards the west smells musty. Coffee was watery. One of the coffee mugs had a plastic cup (small cup) inside - poor cleaning. Water glasses were washed poorly (or not washed at all!!) We ordered veggie omelets - got them with meat!! (they came and apologized, and replaced after we complained - I expected better customer service - they should have comped it).

Skipped over us and took several people before us. The response from one hostess to another was it happens. Potatoes were cold and hard with burnt pieces. Floor shook when anyone walked by table. Harbor Scrambler is getting smaller every year. It also used to
include mandarin oranges. Overpriced for bad service and fair food.

The food and service at Egg Harbor is never a disappointment. My ONLY complaint if I were to have one is that the flavored coffees smell like the flavor, but taste like regular coffee. They do have the coffee bar when you first walk in though, so if you want something other than regular coffee, Id go that route.

Newer building a few blocks from the old restaurant. The was good, the service just okay the on the most recent visit, but they were fairly busy. It is disappointing that while building a brand new restaurant, the owners would skimp on the size of the bathrooms. The old location bathrooms were almost better.

I ordered the Scrambler. The potatoes were cool and hard like they took them out of the fridge and tossed them in the microwave to melt the cheese. I have really enjoyed Egg Harbor at other locations. This one underwhelmed me with the quality of the food and the portion sizes. Great ambiance and service.

Even on a keto diet, this place had quite the variety of options. Matts Meaty Skillet was tasty without being overly spicy or greasy. Great full flavor. Good service, and reasonable price. Im told the pancakes are stellar, and can confirm that they smelled nice.

Quick review: Good breakfast / lunch restaurant. Portion sizes may seem a bit small for the price though. Note: Handicapped parking is severely lacking at this location. That is NOT the fault of the restaurant, as the parking lot is operated by the village.

5 stars because they allow to make several substitutions to make your breakfast exactly how you want it. Friendly staff, food is really good, atmosphere is very well kept and designed and on the upscale side. Each plate will cost $10 or more.

This place never disappoints. Their new location is very nice, with ample parking in back. Service is super fast, staff is friendly. Excellent breakfast/brunch menu. The new Espresso bar servers Intelligencia coffee as well.
