Crave is a neighborhood bar in Arlington Heights. We found a menu in the phone book and it looked good so we gave it a shot. From their menu, they looked to be a trendy place, but really, it was just your neighborhood bar. We got to Crave at about 9:00 on a Friday night and the place was dead. A server met us at the door and invited us to sit anywhere. We sat in a booth and right away the waitress brought us menus and drinks. They have a huge menu...almost too big. Theres so much to choose from. I had a bacon cheeseburger. The sign outside claimed someone just voted them best burger. It was good, but not something that stands outin my opinion. The burger came with seasoned potato wedges which were pretty tasty. My date ordered the BLT and it was huge. The sandwhiched came wedged and was so big, she couldnt fit the whole thing in her mouth. That sandwhich also came with potato wedges. After dinner, we waited a long time for our check. We both sat there with empty drinks and empty plates and just waited. When we finally got it, the price wasnt too bad.

If youre ever in the market for incredibly large quantity of heroin, cocaine, or my personal favorite...speedballs. (I cant help it.. I love mixing the too).. Crave is the place to go. The companionship is something special as well. I didnt know this.. but did you know that by glancing over at someone YOURE the aggressor? I always wanted a dojo of my own. Luckily I found this place when I did. Two hallways full of speedfreaks aggressively breathing on each other? H E double hockey sticks yeah!! If you comin after 2am make sure you bring your white sneakers. Heres a little tip. Stand in the bathroom and be prepared to have them transformed into Ed Hardy shoes!! Theres that much vomit.. They also serve drinks! 3 out of 5 because its the only bar that I cant get kicked out of no matter how rowdy I get.

Looks like the cafeteria at a half way house, fileld with what I assume where crack heads and other people looking to score some dope. Also a handful of alcoholics. Me and my date ordered the saganaki, instead we got a half burnt, gooey glob of what tasted like old swiss cheese (not sure a half of it was completely burnt to a crisp). Chicken wings were under par, celery sticks were good however. We complained to the "manager" who agreed that the saganaki was burnt, as wek as informing us that it is not Greek grief cheese as urt appears in the menu, it is regular fontena cheese. He also didn't apologize or seem to care that we complained and were not satisfied. Either way the sagacrappy tasted like burnt rubber with a hint of teflon. We waited about 20min for our check. Never going back.

Was in the area this weekend for Halloween and we decided to stop in. Havent been there in years. Just the WORST! The service sucked, the music was just aweful. There was a decently wide range of people there but they only played hip-hop. Only heard one song I knew. Even the DJ didnt play the one song I requested. I wasnt the only one hating the music. I was suggested to talk to the owner by another patron there. He basically ignored me. Never again.

I have been coming to Crave for a litte over 6 months, being new to the area the staff have welcomed me as one of their own and not an outsider. I also have met the most wonderful woman here, I wasnt looking, but I found her!! You know who you are!!! I absolutely love the ribs. Chris has got a great menu, and Alydar is great with the bar, and Kelly does a great job keeping the tables hoping. Keep Rocking it guys. Lots of Love

First time in was great, albeit slowish but friendly service. Food was awesome. 2nd time just last week and not so much... I asked for eggs again with the shredded cheddar as I did with my order last go around and it came out with a slice of cheese, barely melted. Its hit or miss, but a good regulars hang out spot with decent enough food on the right days.

I went in there for a beer one day. Place was empty except for two old bags at a booth table. I paid for the beer, it was 2 bucks or something. Half way thru the beer the waitress/bartender comes back to me and says "sorry I undercharged you, you have to give me another 80 cents" or something. WTF! do you believe that? NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.

Best Reuben sandwich I ever had. Stopped in for a late afternoon dinner with a friend. Server gave service with a smile and was very attentive. Place was filled with groups of friends enjoying each others company and chilling out together. Very happy and laid back atmosphere. Love this place........

A nice quiet spot for lunch - I cant comment on how the scene is at night, but its a definite dive bar style, with decent food and relatively cheap beer. Burger selection is pretty good, appetizers are good as well. Bartenders are personable and fun to chat with.

Good service. Most waitress/bartenders are friendly and attentive. Some can be easily distracted at slow times and overwhelmed at peak times. Food is good if the owner isnt cooking. Great corned beef - BEST Reuben sandwich youll find in this area.
