Everybody has their good and bad reviews of places but I personally love this place. There are 3 other Chinese restaurants around this area and out of the 3 I only go here. First time I stepped good in there I was welcomed by the great smell of bleach! Lol meaning the place was clean. From the counter you can see the kitchen and its always in good shape. The flavor and taste of the food is great. The rice is awesome. You can never go wrong with Lemon Pepper Wings and Shrimp Fried Rice. Ive never had a problem with this restaurant and Ive been going here for 2 years.Pricing and portions are good too. My preferred Chinese spot.

Ive tried this place several times now. Each time ordering a different dinner combo which comes with chicken fried rice & either an egg roll or drink. I always opt for the egg rolls which are good. The only negative thing I have to say about this place is the customer service. I always call in my order ahead of time and each time I speak to an employee on the phone they do not greet me, do not repeat my order back, do not give a total, & hang up without saying anything. But ill keep coming back for the decent chinese food :)

Unless I severely burned my tongue, unknowingly, and as a result, wiped away every taste bud Ive ever had- the entree I had was bland, tasteless, and disappointing. I ordered the orange chicken, which is supposed to be a specialty?? I really hate I wasted my money... But I was convinced by the "best in Union City" and the "worth the drive" reviews. I highly disagree. If this is the best, Id be better off eating cardboard.

My teriyaki vegetable meal was not fresh. Was also comprised of only cabbage. My sushi rolls were poorly done. I was extremely underwhelmed by the quality of food. Best thing about it for me was the rice...and anyone can use a rice cooker. Front counter employee was nice. I wont be giving them any more business.

Worst food Ive had in a while. I ordered the Kung pao chicken based on their recommendation from their photo and it wasnt anywhere near what Kung pao should be. The worst part was the chicken had so much grizzle and sauce on it, to hide the quality that at first it looked like it was battered and deep fried.

China Garden was recommended by a friend and I can say I was NOT disappointed! My beef and Broccoli with chicken fried rice was delicious. Just as was the braised wings and veggie egg roll! Since we just moved to the area, weve been looking for good food and have found it!

The egg drop soup has been repeatedly coagulated, luke warm, and unpleasantly thick. This is the third or fourth time Ive ordered it and it was unediable. Such a waste of money. They must have switched chefs... Either way, I wont be ordering it from them ever again.

Young man took a large drink instead of small and he was chased into the parking lot by cashier and she argued with him for minutes about it! They open up in our neighborhood and refuse to do anything positive for the community but serve is over priced rice!

Ive lived in the area off and on for a long time and I always end up back a China garden. The food is always good and mostly cooked to order. There is a wait most time but as long as its hot I dont complain. The customer service is mostly non-existent.
