I first came here in 2016 and had a pretty miserable experience but chalked it up to it being their first weekend open and growing pains. Came back this morning (over a year later) thinking my experience would surely be better. Definitely not the case. Came in and told a bartender I had a quick question. She just stared at me. No "hello" or "sure whats up?"; so I continued on and asked if high tops were considered first come first serve. Again, no words. Just a nod with raised eyebrows signifying annoyance. She was just a delightful person to interact with (extreme sarcasm). Youd think bartenders would know to be sociable and have people skills (speaking from experience as a former bartender). Sat down. Didnt get menus or a waitress for 10 minutes. My food was pretty bad, with chewy uncooked pieces of country ham (I got Eggs Betty) and the poached egg wasnt medium - it was definitely still a bit raw. I passed on eating the rest of my food and instead ordered another cup of coffee. Waiter (not our assigned one) teeters the coffee carafe above our wobbly table and instead of picking up my mug and pouring away from the table, he proceeds to pour the coffee and it drips out of the carafe and all over my leg leaving me both burned and my white dress totally stained. The waiter didnt apologize or offer a towel; my fiancé had to ask him for a towel to clean my dress and only then did he return with a halfhearted, mumbled "sorry about that." Terrible experience. Will never go back.

Just a disclaimer - my first impression of this restaurant was a to go order for lunch, so I didnt get the full experience. The first issue I experienced was when I called to place a to go order at lunch. They dont take to go orders over the phone yet, so you have to come in and order to go from the bar. An inconvenience for to go business, but they are still new and getting everything together, so Im sure this will change down the road. Just some minor service hiccups: I asked for onion on my veggie burger, but none came with it. The menu says the veggie burger comes with a house made smoked jalapeño aioli - I was really looking forward to trying this, but there was barely any on the burger or bun - something that can easily be fixed if I was dining in. There were about 5-6 hosts/hostesses gathered at the hostess stand at the front of the restaurant, but not 1 managed to say bye or thanks for coming when I left. Again, minor things, but worth pointing out. The food. As I mentioned, I got the black bean veggie burger. I thought it was a very solid veggie burger, and 1 I would order again. Not the best veggie burger - that crown still remains with Houstons - but a great offering for this area. Also, the order came with a homemade biscuit and blueberry jam/jelly - both were delicious. I imagine breakfast here is very good. A welcomed edition to the Sany Springs/Buckhead cooridor. Once this place gets its bearings, it should be a consistent, solid go to restaurant.

This was my 4th time dining here and all 4 have not gone so well. First Ill mention the good - 1. good food overall, never had a bad item. 2. good location. 3. good layout and atmosphere. The bad - 1. all 4 times when we walk in, there is commotion and confusion at the front desk. No one turns to greet us for several minutes. This last time was not even busy. 2. A very long wait for everything. We get seated right after someone notices us there but it takes quite some time for the waitress to come to the table. She takes our drink order. Fortunately we were in deep conversation and didnt realize that 15 solid minutes had gone by and still no drinks and no food order was taken. She comes back to take the food order after another 5 minutes and still no drinks. Finally drinks come out and she takes the food order. Now for the next long wait for food. So much time in between everything on a not busy evening. Theres no real excuse other than some emergency happened in the kitchen, but if that is the case, at least come by to apologize for the wait. This nearly identical experience happened each of the previous visits but I went when they just opened so I figured they just needed to get some experience. They now have the experience but no improvement. The food is good (not amazing) and the servers are friendly, but the process needs to be better. There are too many great restaurants in Atlanta to waste time (and a lot of it) coming here.

Really disappointed with our experience, especially since we had very high expectations after an incredible time at the THC in Chattanooga. The service was incredibly slow. It took us about 10 minutes to receive bottled beers. And I think we would still be sitting there to this day if we hadnt suggested that the waiter bring us our checks. Half of the menu was unavailable to order, which was very annoying. We found out most of the items were unavailable only after ordering them. When the food finally did get to our table it was mostly just meh. I would put it up there with Applebees except you are paying almost twice to three times more for it. The Brussels were practically raw...I had to go spit them out in the bathroom they tasted so bad. We were offered dessert for all of our trouble but then the waiter tried to make all three of us share one banana pudding dessert. We were annoyed at this point so that wasnt happening. I probably wont go back to this location. If you are in Chattanooga definitely GO!!! Loved the experience we had up there, but this location was not enjoyable...especially with the expensive bill.

Every Friday I pick my daughter up from school and on our way home we pass Tupleo Honey. Last week traffic was a little heavy so we decided to stop in for an after-school snack. The interior decor is absolutely beautiful. The hostess was warm and friendly. Since it was the middle of the afternoon we were sat immediately. Winston greeted our table within moments of us being sat. His demeanor was warm and kind like a cartoon character. He want over the menu with us and recommended a non-alcoholic craft beverage for my daughter, the Lavender Lime-ade Fizz. Since my daughter loves wings, we ordered those and a couple veggie sides. After we placed our order Winston brought us complimentary biscuits. My daughter accidentally put too much honey on hers and a replacement magically arrived. Our food arrived in a timely manner. Everything was great. I must say the wings were much larger than anticipated. My little foodie ranked them a 9.5 out of 10. Well be back!

Now this is what I call Southern cooking! Its Mountain South to be exact. The menu is flawless! The worst of my experience was finding an entree and room for more food. I found most items to be somewhat affordable for its creativity and origin, and there are no ridiculously high a la carte sides. The waitress was attentive and recognized the menu. She was prompt with the greeting, delivering the complimentary biscuits (good but not so moist) w/ compote & honey (love), and placing the order. The bar is full of unique drafts and craft beers; I was able to sample a few drinks before buying which was pleasing. Fortunately, I didnt wait long for my meal. I tasted a number of small plates and an entree, and it was all fresh, hot, and tasty. If youre Southern bred, you know scratch-made when you taste it. My only problem here is being stuck between grandmas Sunday dinner and the Tupelos supper plates. Decisions, decisions.
