So relaxed. There are different café vibes: busy urban, student, caffeine rush, super green organic, business, etc. This place, though. Just what I love. Island on the outside, modern/industrial/island inside. Music is playing, but at a pleasant volume. Patrons arent screaming at each other. The coffee aroma is not overwhelming. Very private seating outside overlooking the marsh. Merchandise available, but its not the focus. So very clean. The drink menu is small and handwritten on a chalk board. Im having the Iced Island Mocha (coconut and mocha), and its by far the best Ive had. Perfect balance of flavors, the coffee is robust but not bitter, and theres a distinct nutty flavor that adds to the wonderful richness of this drink. Honey is local, pastries are local, and youll find a nice Specials board featuring coffee of the day. Service is remarkably professional. And relaxed. Thats the vibe. Island relaxed. Head over heels for this little café in Saint Simons Red Fern Village.

If you are a lover of craft coffee or even dont know what "craft coffee" is, you will love this place. Great baristas, very kind and efficient at making some stellar coffee. Some must-tries are the Honey Raspberry Vanilla Latte, the iced coffee, and really anything with espresso. We will always stop by this space every time we visit the area from now on.

Charming coffee shop and sometimes music house, Wake Up is a community hub as well. Warm & inviting. Delicious light fare. My favorite in fall & winter is white hot chocolate. Staff is always genuinely kind & helpful. Also a well-stocked source for a wonderful selection of free-trade handmade & recycled epurposed gifts.

The barista was nice and took his time making our coffee. They have a regular drip blend and when we were in they had an Ethiopia and Costa Rica roast. We got plenty of coffee (one pourover is enough for two people) and it was good. It was crowded on a Tuesday afternoon.

I try to go every morning when Im on SSI. No need to order fancy drinks, the standard house coffee is great. Though I generally order the featured blend. Service is also exemplary and the view of the marsh on the back deck is a nice place to spend your morning.

I must say this is by far the best coffee I have had! I love it here. Visited here with daughter and son in law. It was raining and this was the perfect stop. Glad I did. So far you all are number 1!!

The coffee is comforting and the service uniquely refreshing. Hannah and Hunter consistently offer well crafted coffee with a full dose of wit and charm, setting Wake Up apart from the "other" beans.

Im so glad this coffee shop opened. It was the best Chai Latte Id ever had. My wife loved the Island Mocha. In addition, the environment makes you want to hang out a while and talk with friends.
