Just got home from eating here and could not be more disappointed. Poor service started when we walked in the door. The restaurant was empty and yet they seemed put out when they saw we had 9 people in our party. Took 15 minutes to slide a couple tables together. No big deal. We were seated and the waitress came to our table in a reasonable amount of time. We were clear there were two separate checks and she even put the orders on two separate tickets. Kids drinks took 20 minutes from order to delivery and bar drinks including one kids root beer took over 30 minutes. While waiting for drinks, we ordered our food. Order was messed up beginning with our soups - they brought the wrong soup. Our food took an hour and 15 minutes to come to the table. Ribs were dry and not that great. Beef brisket was good but forgettable. Nachos with chicken had a bone in the meat - not making this up. Overall the meal was average and the extremely slow service was unacceptable. Had to continually look for waitress for simple things such as water and napkins. She would not check on us at all. Bill came and she told us that 2 kids ice creams were on house (maybe $5 off bill) because it took so long but never apologized for it during the meal. The bill had all of our orders mixed up. Asked her to fix and she still put things on our bill that was other parties order. We gave up and paid anyway when the manager came to our table to ask how our experience was. I told him the truth and all he said was hopefully next time we can do better and couldnt walk away fast enough. There will not be a next time. Stay away from this place if you expect decent service and good food. ***reply to owners response: Our experience was so bad at your restaurant that we will never return...even if you offered a free meal to us. No thanks.

I felt compelled to write a review because I decided to go to this Smokey Bones (Peachtree City) even after reading the Google reviews last week with family from out of town. I thought perhaps the service had improved as a result of so many of the same type of complaints being posted here. Not so. My family and I waited about an hour an a half before our food arrived and could not understand why. We were seated at our table, just waiting and waiting. Nor, was the waiter apologetic or checking in with us during the wait. The restaurant seemed to be only half full, if that much. -When the food arrived, I was not happy with the size of my smoked wings. Everyone else had hefty sized wings, but mine were small with just a little sauce on them. My mom ordered 3 sides and rather than serving her each individual side in their normal size, they put them all on a plate in smaller portions. In particular, the sweet potato sticks (fries) are one of my favorite --which is why I suggested them for her-- and they just gave her a small amount on the plate and did not give her the customary sauces that go with it. I think there were a few other complaints from my family but after waiting soo long and it was now dark outside, we just wanted to enjoy each other, not complain, and leave before it got much later. I was so disappointed after having recommended this restaurant to my family. In the past, I have been very happy at the Smokey Bones location in Lithonia. This was my first time at the location in Peachtree City. Based on that experience, I wont be back.

If I could give it a 0 I would. Went there for lunch today and had to wait over 40 minutes for our food, there were only 5 other tables occupied. I finally had to ask them to pack my food to go, strike one. When I got to work there was black mold in my potato that was clearly also on the outside. They had to cut the potato open to stuff it but I guess they figured I would never see it strike two.Called to complain and the asst manager took my name and phone number to call me back after she spoke with the general manager. Waited an hour past the time when she stated she would call, I called back. I explained I was waiting for her call twice and never did she apologize it was almost like she was surprised that I really expected that phone call. I gave her the information she requested to fix the bill and then she needed more. She asked me how much my portion of the bill was for, I explained again that my husband and children stayed to finish their lunch so I never saw the bill. She said well without your credit card information we cant do anything. Earlier she said she would need my address to mail me a gift certificate. Now she didnt remember saying that, I told her dont worry about comping the meal I dont live near by so I cant come in right now instead I will never come back there and your compensation will be me leaving a review on your facebook page and yelp page. She said fine.

Of all the places we could have gone for dinner last Saturday, we chose Smokey Bones. We had planned a lovely evening to have dinner with some friends and then govto a movie in honor of Fathers Day. We arrived at 7:00 pm, and we were given a wait time of 40-45 min. We were cool with that since our movie didnt start until 9:55. We were finally seated at 7:50. After ordering our drinks and appetizers, we submitted our order at 8:05 pm. We waited for one hour and still no food! We questioned our waitress who stated she was new. She was very sweet and apologetic, but her trainer didnt seem that concerned. As I observed other customers get served their food, I became even more frustrated to the point that my migraine was a 10/10! We finally decided to get up and leave. We were greeted by the manager whom apologized and offer to take care of our meal if we would wait an additional fifteen minutes. She was reminded of our movie set to start in about 35 minutes. We left and went to three separate fast food joints and arrived with five minutes to spare. I dosed off after taking an imitrex for my migraine. We spent over two hours at Smokey Bones for some lemonade, tea, and fried pickles!!! I doubt I will come here again!!! The sad part is my husband and I have come here before and got great service and great food!

I ordered take out by phone at 8:30pm. The girl on the phone hung up on me after asking to place me on hold. I called back and she put me on hold again. She took my order and I went to the restaurant about 15 minutes later to pick it up. I waited in line behind 2 other people who had ordered take out. They were complaining that they had waited a long time and that the orders werent right. After about 20 minutes of waiting they called me up to pay. I assumed that meant my food was ready, I was wrong. I sat and waited another 45 MINUTES to get my food. There was hardly anyone in there, Im not sure what took so long. Visibly frustrated I asked twice about how much longer and was dismissed. No apology for the wait. The take out girl was horribly rude. She had dyed red hair. I couldnt believe the terrible attitude. Also, while waiting I could see into the kitchen and watched an African American woman in regular clothes, no hair net, making a burger, NO gloves on!! I watched her hold the bun up to a spinning thing. Anyways, I got home with my food finally, only to realize I was completely missing a meal. I drove all the way back there for the same girl to push it across the counter to me and turn around. No apology, nothing. NEVER AGAIN. HIRE SOME DECENT STAFF.
