I grew up and lived in Florida for 20 years where publix reigns supreme if not a downright monopoly. Ive been to a lot of Publix stores over the years and I was looking forward to the day of moving out of Florida so I could experience something better because the Publixs in Florida are nothing like the ones outside of Florida and they certainly arent worthy of a 5 star yelp from someone who only mostly complains on yelp. Anyway, the reason Im writing this review is because I have yet to find any grocery store, any publix, anyWHERE that has a staff like the one in this store. And that includes the ones just right down the street in either direction. The people in this store greet me when I walk in the door BY MY NAME. I cannot walk past any employee without getting a "hello!". The cashier always remembers me and my preferences. Someone else said the Aprons lady was the friendliest, Id have to say Dale in seafood is the friendliest then again everyone at this store is friendly and helpful. I have honestly never seen anything quite like it. I never thought Id live to see the day that I actually write in to the Publix corporate office with anything good to say, but Im going to do exactly that. Last month I needed to exchange a propane tank (which they have cheaper than home depot btw) and I asked if I can just give them the old tank, take the new tank to my car and come back and pay for it after I did the rest of my shopping. "Sure! Go right ahead!" they told me. You know, its really nice to feel trusted like that. This is what I envision some small town market in Vermont or somewhere to be like. The selection isnt a big as the other Publix at Spout Springs and 985 but if you want something, go order it at the front desk and they will literally go to the other publix, get it for you and bring it back for you to pick up a couple of days later. I drive past 2 krogers and 3 other publix stores to get here and I will continue to do so because their customer service is out of this world.

They have the basic and thats fine. I like their selection but I do not like their management and no one seems to care. I live across the street and Ive been trying to get a job here for almost 2 years. Ive seen new kids walk in and get a job right off the bat. I had to go 15 minutes down the road, an hour on bike just to get a job. What does this have to do with this place? I asked the managers why I couldnt get hired. Ya know, maybe get some feedback. I asked them and told them what I thought, told them I noticed that special needs get a job here but I cant? I would like an explanation about this and when I brought this up, the lady manager said I was arguing with her and that I was causing a scene when I wasnt. All I did was express my concern about the place and she didnt like it. People like her do not need to be manager if they cant handle a small situation as such. Even my mother isnt happy about that and also wants to know why. Ive called corporate on this and they didnt even answer a phone. It was like an auto hang up or something. If you ask me, dont go here. Id recommend going to Kroger or Walmart if you want someone to respect you.

My wedding cake was purchased from here. My experience started off poorly from the beginning when the baker failed to show up to an appointment made to review options. The person on duty didnt have much experience nor information. My family went with Publix, thinking itd be simple and easy as the Venue was right by it. We still ordered (even though pricing wasnt necessarily the best either, well over what anyone else I spoke to paid come to find out). I primarily cared the cake looked like the provided image (it wasnt elaborate and shouldnt have been difficult) as well as obviously cared about the taste. I was assured it would match the picture and could be done with buttercream. Our caterer had doubts ( as well as others) and I should have listened. The delivered cake didnt resemble the picture at all. Would strongly advise going else where.

I LOVE this publix. Its official. I went to the doctors today and got a prescription while I was there. I asked them to send it to this publix however they sent it to Kroger instead. I thought, okay well I guess I might get some rewards points, so I didnt say anything. NEVER again. I will always make sure I send them to the publix pharmacy. They were much nicer and had my prescription ready in less then 5 mins.
