I have to start by saying Longhorn is one of my Top everyday steakhouses. We went to longhorn steakhouse in Fayetteville GA after a long day of shopping for Christmas. I would say the restaurant was 7 out of 10 on being busy. We walked into the restaurant and there was no hostess at the front desk. We stood around waiting for about 10 mins and finally a manager came over and flagged a hostess from the back to come seat us. After we were seated our waitress showed up and took our drink orders. My wifes Sweet Tea arrived fairly quickly, but my mixed drink from the bar took an additional 10 mins. When my drink arrived I had to ask our waitress for the bread. About 5 mins later the manager brought out a loaf of bread. I started to drink on my mixed drink ( cant remember the name exactly, but its the one with the Honey Jack Daniels ) and needless to say, for it to have taken so long for the bartend to make my drink, you would think it would be mixed well, it was terrible, heavy on some pours light on others making the drink way way way off balance (not worth $7). So, when the waitress decided to come back around, she took our order. My wife ordered some stuffed noodle dish (shrimp, lobster??) and she was informed that they were out of noodles. So she ordered the brussel sprout dish and a 8oz sirloin well done. I ordered my typical 10oz New York strip med rare. My 2yr old son ordered chicken tenders. After a beyond normal wait our food arrived....... The steak was gray in color, with no grill marks, and just slapped on a plate. My wife ordered a side sweet potato, which was lost in translation. I asked our waitress for some A1 for my steak. After she took more other orders and went to the bar to chit chat with the bartender, she decided to bring me my A1 half way through eating my steak before it got cold. The cook of my steak was a Med Well as was my wifes. My wifes sweet tea had been empty and the waitress was gracious enough to get her a refill after i had to ask for when she brought the A1. She needless to say, brought her an unsweet tea. I waited on a waitress or staff member to come past our table to exchange her tea but there was no staff, even at the front desk. I got up and walked to the kitchen area and asked the waitress standing there texting if i could get sweet tea instead. We choked down our poorly seasoned and cooked food. Its a sad day when you average a $30 per person tab at a steakhouse, and the children s chicken tender meal was the best dish. We paid our tab and before leaving, I wanted to speak to a manager. We were walking out and the manager was near the front. I spoke to him and explained our dining experience. Now, I have complained at restaurants before, I have been offered numerous free meals and turned them all down. By no means do i complain to get a comped meal, but the gesture is nice and to me means the management takes my business and patronage seriously. This manager looked me in the eyes and said "my bad, have a good night" and walked away. That was the icing on the cake. I enjoy eating at Longhorn, but I will not eat at this location ever again, and highly advise others from doing so. It is not that far to drive to Newnan or Peachtree City for a better dining experience.

About last night... I decided to go to dinner with a friend, catch up on old times, laugh a little, eat good, you know make new memories. Well I certainly made a memory that Ill NEVER forget! After being seated, our waiter took our order, as you know salad comes with most of the meals, so I ordered a garden salad. It came out, looked great, right amount of salad dressing... as I stuck my fork in my salad and was getting ready to ingest it, I look down and notice a big brown (what looked like a roach) wiggling around inside of my salad. Of course my reaction was to yell out that "theres a bug in my salad". The waiter immediately came over and thought I was joking, until he looked in my bowl and there is was in plain sight. A woman came over, who Im assuming was the manager, and apologized stating that, "this has never happened before, we dont have a bug problem, its not like this is a McDonalds or something, our salads are not pre-packaged they are made fresh and our produce comes off of a produce truck, I am going to call pest control and they will be out here tonight". Needless to say, I was at a loss for words. She adjusted our bill... because my friend was still hungry, we were only charged for his meal and nothing else. She offered the both of us a free appetizer coupon, but I feel like I shouldve at least gotten a gift card or something else just to make up for my now ruined appetite and night. I checked their restaurant score before we sat down to eat, It was "100". I guess those scores in some instances just do not matter. I will not be going back to the longhorn in Fayetteville, only because of my traumatic bug experience. Other than that, the service was great and the wait time was not very long (only 20 mins) to have been on a Friday night at dinner time.

My family and I went on Sunday, April 30, 2017. When we arrived I was told the wait would be 20 minutes, that was not true. When we went back inside to check how much longer 25 minutes later, we found out the wait was 45 minutes to an hour. The front entrance needed sweeping, empty tables were unclean and the hostess was standing up front eating gummy worms. No manager to be seen. The hostess told us they were in the middle of a shift change and everyone would be seating after that (is this a restuarant or hospital). A customer asked for the manager and he began seating people after she spoke to him about the service. We finally was called to be seated only to get a table that was half cleaned and the floor under the table was full of trash. We decided to leave an go somewhere else. There was about 15 empty tables and no one was in a hurry to seat anyone. LongHorn you need to upgrade your management team and staff at this location.

Absolutely piss poor service, I came from out of town to treat my sister and children out for dinner and our waitress Julie showed a lack of care or concern for servicing us. We were insulted in a way that we have never. Both my sister and I have been in the restaurant business for 15 years and have a zero tolerance for poor customer service, if it wasnt for my children and the MOD we would have gotten up and left. After my experience at this location I was very shocked to have received that kind of service in upscale Fayette County, I was very upset even after I left because I truly couldnt understand actions of the waitress. We will not be returning!!! EVER!!! 2hrs 35mins of piss poor service!

Tonight was just a complete waste of 63 dollars... since my time was horribly wasted from a lie told straight from the from door. A 10-15 min wait turned into 30 before being seated and another 15 mins before being seen. The waitress was cool and all but the cook is where the problem is. I ordered a well done t-bone and received half of the steak still raw to where I couldnt cut through. And the steakhouse Mac and cheese taste like it was sitting all day. Heated up and reserved to me. Totally not the move. Longhorns will forever be a great restaurant but this specific kitchen team sucks...
