This was the first place we ate at in over 16 hrs and it was an unfortunate experience. We ordered fish, lemon pepper wings, chicken tacos, collard greens, garlic mash potatoes peach BBQ wings and candy yams. The Restraunt has a no refund, store credit or no exchange policy by which we learned that they are willing to follow whichever increases their revenue. After making my order and paying for the food cashier informs us that they are out of candy yams and insisted that we change our order to another side. Informed the cashier that we had previously ordered everything we want and the we would like to be refunded. She stated the they have a no refund policy and that we MUST choose another side or lose our money. Well if you can exchange sides ( Against policy)then you can surely refund the money. After dialogue owners brother just so happens to be at the restraunt and offers to refund me my money out of his own pocket (He is the reason for the second star). The food was quite blend and I would not recommend this place to any of my friends or family. Lemon pepper wings- Needed more seasoning lemon pepper seasoning Peach BBQ wing- unable to taste peach flavor over BBQ sauce Garlic Mash Potatoes- No issues Fish- No flavor Fries- were heavily doused with seasoned salt just like I like them to be Chicken tacos- No flavor, tasted better with their homemade sauce. Collard Greens- No issues. Mac and Cheese- Blend- Just add salt and pepper to make edible

Just stopped in to try something new and unfortunately Im not that impressed. From the name and menu selection I expected to be blown away with Flavor. I selected the 3 taco and fries deal with a cool aid to drink. First off let me state the cool aid was fantastic!, but how hard is it to mess up cool aid? The food on the other had was another story. The shrimp in my tacos were fried so long they took on a weird texture Ive never had before, and werent even hot. My guess is that they were pre-fried and maybe warmed a little.... and my fries were luke warm at most as well. The place is small so I expected to wait a little while to get fresh hot delicious food, but they failed to deliver. The tacos seemed like they could have been good if they would have cooked main ingredient (the meat) fresh and paid close attention not overcooked it. I wanted so much to support another black owned business, but they really are going to have to step their game up before I waste my hard owned coins in there again. The customer service was good, but it needs to be followed up with a good product.

Its ok. Greens were TERRIBLY SPICY with no indication of that when i was ordering. The yellow rice was hard apparently warmed in the microwave. They replaced the greens with green beans ( no seasoning) and the gentleman in back made a fresh batch of rice so the replacement serving was FANTASTIC.i had a veggie plate...so i also had mac n cheese ( which was ok...but it had no creaminess to it...seemed to be just pasta and cheese) and i had the yams which were pretty good... But not carmelized like southern yams. Normally with a veggie plate at most every "soul food" place you get a drink included and its less than 7.00 ..but not here...basically i paid 8.00 for 4 spoons of sides and a corn muffin that was overly sweet.....next time i will stick to the wings and fries.

This was my 1st and only time eating there, the cashier is super, the cooks we aruging so loud and almost about to fight, the owner was yelling at them. I had to wait toooo long to get my food, my wings were wrong, but they quickly remade my order it looked good. Once l got home to eat the green beans looks as if they came oyt the can to the pan(no seasoning), the greens tasted like white pepper. The yams were ok and the wings were about the the best thing on my plate. My boyfriend had the fish and said it was ok. Overall 1st impressions are ever lasting l will not be returning.

I live across the street and have been ordering weekly ever since they have opened. The food is great! Glad that they started to deliver. They have great customer service also. I love that you can get a sandwich, fries, and a soda for about 8 bucks, although I hate their new fries. I mostly get the chicken or ribs dinner. Whoever started doing the candy yams are awesome. My sis loves the macaroni.. The banana pudding is to die for!

I ordered a turkey burger and fries. Simple. It took more than 20 minutes to ever make my food. I was the only person dining in. The staff was too busy preparing a large delivery order. I was pressed for time, since I didnt expect for my food to take so long to be prepared. I ended up having to run out of the building to catch my bus! I never got my food. Needless-to-say, I will pass on giving them anymore business.

I was there today 2/4/2017 and you couldnt pay me to go back...first and very last time...The smoke was making me sick and they had me waiting almost and hour with only one order in front of mine. The girl that was sitting down taking orders with and attitude just walked away when I asked for my money back. Thats bad bad business I will never go back .

Excellent! Ordered delivery twice. The staff and delivery driver were awesome and friendly. Excellent prices for the quality of food. Mac n cheese is great, collard greens are probably the best Ive ever had, fried and grilled chicken are excellent, and the garlic parmesan and lemon pepper wings were on point! Will eat here every time Im in the area.

The collard greens are the best in the city. The garlic mashed potatoes are okay. The fish is terribly over seasoned and is normally cooked crispy to burnt. The prices are very reasonable. Location sucks because its always difficult to turn into the lot because of traffic. Again, the collard greens are the best in the city.

The macaroni and cheese is severly dry and looks like it was scraped from the bottom of the pan. The collard greens are spicy, which I had no indication they were until I bit into them....instantly my GERD flared up...Im really dissapointed I was hopping they would work out since they are close by

Only good thing I ordered were the street tacos and bread pudding. Everything else was disgusting. Grit tasted old, Mac n cheese was flavorless, chicken was burned, greens also tasted nasty as hell. They really need to improve on their menu. They have great customer service though!

First time ever using eat24 the flavor cafe. My order was correct and hot. Everything was amazing. Great flavors on everything. Beautiful presentation. Im loving redvelvetkeylime cake. Omg. Thats was a wonderful cake...thank u the flavor cafe.. Really enjoyed my food.

I had the braised turkey wings and was not disappointed. They were seasoned just right and the portion was huge! The lady at the counter was super friendly. I recommend anybody looking for some real food to check this place out. Its well worth it.

I was very pleased with the menu and quality of the food at The Flavor Cafe ( the mac & cheese is one of my favorites! ) The food is very reasonable and the customer service is excellent. I will most definitely be returning to support this spot!
