After reading the reviews on here about how good the food was and AMAZING service I decided to check out the place today for lunch. I thought about to walking out the second I walked in and I wish I would have. 1) When I walked in there were crushed up fortune cookies on the floor that the girl stepped on as she seated us. I thought surely she was going to sweep them up and it must have just happened. Nope. they stayed right there, smashed up in the nasty carpet the entire time. 2) As the server was at the table next to us taking their order she said hang on and answered the phone. ***I should have left by this point, guess it was all the AMAZING reviews on here that made me decide to continue to sit there. 3) Our server approached us and was extremely rude. I actually found myself over smiling in hopes of maybe getting a nice reaction out of her. Nope. When I asked questions about ONE dish,,,, she acted like she didnt want to be bothered. I felt rushed to order and basically pointed and said i will try the Mandarin Beef. Bad decision. 4) When they brought out my meal I couldnt believe how much batter was on this beef. It looked like a funnel cake drowned in brown sauce. I cut through pieces trying to find the beef. I actually thought... maybe they forgot to add the beef to the dish? Then I found a tiny sliver. It was that bad. ***I hate sending things back so I decided to just order another dish. The rude server took my new order and went back to the kitchen. Keep in mind that I never once complained. 5) The owner or manager or whoever she was then came to our table asking if I wanted it to go. (Why she felt the need to come to the table Im not sure) I said no thank you I will eat it here. Then she said she would have to charge me dinner price and give me dinner portion because it was after 3. By this point I decided not to get the dinner portion since I already had my soup and egg role. I told her no thank you and if I could just get a side of veggies that would be great. She told me she couldnt give me any vegetables. Really? No veggies? LONG story short... Nothing about this place was good. Dirty, Horrible service, disgusting food and no desire to make the customer happy. If I could leave no stars I would.

Ive been eating at Canton House for the past 7 years or so, and I have to say its always delightful to eat there. They have familiarized themselves with my family and I, making the experience all the much better. The workers there are always helpful and this restaurant is obviously a family restaurant. The Food: Its very good, expect for the noodles, theyre too moist. The Decor: It feels like youre walking to a Chinese restaurant that was constructed around the late 80s, which it probably was. This isnt a fancy restaurant, its a restaurant for the daily worker. The Service: If youre nice then theyll reciprocate two times more. If youre rude theyll simply be nice. Spoiler: The owners arent Chinese, theyre Vietnamese. DUN DUN DUNNNNN.

Great food. Ive been looking for a good chinese restaurant that uses the darker sauces for their foods. I have never liked the lighter sauces that are milky. The Hot and Sour soup is especially good. Not too dark or light with lots of good bits in there. Daughter loves the veggie fried rice with all the veggies in it and older daughter loves the chicken lo mein (again, the right kind and amount of sauce). Me? Im all about the spicy garlic chicken. As with ALL chinese restaurants, skip the $0.50 fried rice upgrade with meals as it is just white rice with some soy and sparse vegetables in it. Get real rice off the menu and youll be very pleased.

I dont know why or how anyone could fault the service here! My daughter and I found it by chance one day, and were thrilled to have finally found great Chinese food in this area. we came back about 3 weeks later with my husband and all 6 of our kids...and the owner/waitress not only remembered my daughter and I, but also remembered what we had ordered from 3 weeks before!! she even reminded my son one time that he handpicked out all of the bean sprouts the time before, and asked if he wanted her to leave them out :). I wish we didnt live 45 minutes away...we would be eating there every week!

Went for lunch the other day, and it was fantastic as always. I have tried a few different items on the menu and always come back to Mongolian Chicken. Lunch is the best deal and I am always stuffed.. Service is excellent, but maybe Im just use to the way they operate. If your new to the place, it may be a little intimidating because they rush around the place. Nothing extravagant, and the interior is worn. I go for the food and not the atmosphere. Always a pleasant experience for me. Im happy that we have this restaurant as part of the community.

If there was an option for no stars, Id choose that. The entrées were just OK, but it was the Hot and Sour soup and the "Fried Rice" that were just over the top terrible. The "fried" rice was basically white rice that had been drowned in soy sauce. No veggies, no eggs. Just soy sauce. The hot and sour soup - which I usually adore from other places- was similarly awful. It was full... And I mean FULL of plain black pepper flakes. To the point that it was inedible. Stay away! This was a terrible waste of money!!!

This is definitely the best chinese restaurant in Canton. The food is very good, as is the service, but the people there have never been nice to me, though Ive tried very hard to make them like me since weve been going there for the past 13 years. The food score is always yo-yoing, but I suppose its the cleanest in town. As for value, the prices are the same as every other restaurant, averaging at $8 a meal.

This place simply has the best Chinese food in Canton. In the four years since I have moved to the area this place has never disappointed me. In fact, on top of the quality of the food, the customer service is incredible. They always remember me, and even after long hiatuses of not having Chinese they remember my usual order as soon as I walk through the door. No other place in Canton compares.

Dont be fooled by the good reviews! The quantity and prices are comparable to other chinese places but the quality here is pretty awful. Boring fried rice with no veggies but lots of soy sauce. Extremely overdone sweet and sour pork -- really, it was crunchy! Very greasy lo mein. And the cashews in the cashew chicken were burnt. Ill definitely be going somewhere else next time.

My favorite place for Chinese takeout in Georgia by far! The portion sizes and prices are good, the flavor is excellent, and theres a great variety to choose from. Coupled with a helpful staff that will happily help tweak a dish to your tastes and it cant be beat! Try the Sesame Chicken and make sure to ask for their house yellow mustard!
