My family and I decided to try this place out after shopping at the publix thats located in the shopping center. We ordered shrimp egg foo yung, lemon pepper wings, and shrimp lo mein. The lemon pepper wings were greasy and caked in salt. The lo mein and shrimp egg foo yung were greasy. The only thing that was ok was the white rice and the egg foo yung sauce. The wait time was pretty long which wouldnt have been that bad if the food was good. The store is clean. My hubby didnt want to give them a try at first because they are next door to an animal clinic.

I tend to have a sensitive stomach, but never had any indigestion from Hong Kong. My wife compared price to actually making some of what they have, it is cheaper to buy the chinese food here rather than try to make it. One of my favorites is the Moo Goo Gai Pan. It is also nice to know that the family that owns this restaurant also lives in my neighborhood. So they do care about the quality of their food. We see the kids that work here walking to the store from home sometimes. I highly recommend.

Writing this to counter the obvious troll reviews talking about bugs, etc. The place has a 100 A rating posted for its health cert. Hard to get that if you are infested. Further the food is delicious, steamed dumplings yummy (right sauce too for pot sticks), Orange peal chix was very good, shrimp fried rice was excellent (shrimp were fresh and tender, can tell the difference). Portions large, options for pints is nice across the board. Happy found this.

Dont bother ordering Chow Mein If you actually expect to get pan fried noodles. They give you the soup noodles and thats supposed to be the same thing. Thought it was a mistake the first time. But its happened every time I order chow mein there. Sorry but Pan fried noodles and stale noodle things are not the same thing. Hot and Sour soup is practically flavorless. Do yourself a favor and find another place for Chinese like Pacific Spice in Woodstock.

We order take out all the time from Hong Kong Chinese. They use fresh ingredients, dishes are tasty, well seasoned and not too salty or greasy. We recommend them highly and have never been disappointed (except on last Christmas we had to go for Chinese at another place as they were closed and that other restaurant was terrible) Best NY style Chinese in North Cobb/Cherokee and well worth a drive. Dine in options are rather austere.

The food is always fresh, and the proprietors are always nice. The price is about average for Chinese take-out/delivery, but the quality of food and service sets Hong Kong apart from the rest. The only complaint I have is that they dont deliver. I wouldnt recommend eating in, since it isnt really set up for it, and there are only a handful of tables, usually filled with people waiting on their orders. Overall, an excellent place!

Been going to this place for 8 years. The 2nd owners at first didnt do a good job, but now they are great. The rice has good chunks of pork and cooked perfect. Try the garlic chicken combo or the Singapore Mae Fun(Phun?). The General Tso chicken is the best in town. I havent tried most of the stuff since I really enjoy the stuff listed above. For Chinese food its this place or the Pacific buffet on Barrett Pkwy.

Ever since the new owners took over the place has been going downhill!. I keep going back every month or so trying to give them a fair chance ,but after a few years it has only gotten worse.Orders (if they get it right0 are tasteless & smaller each time. They stopped putting out tea which always helped the wait,& the owners wife is so unpleasant & miserable.Im done with them & hope you will be too!

I order the same thing when I visit any Chinese restaurant, and its General Tsos Chicken. I have ordered this same thing at 3 local Kennesaw Chinese restaurants, and Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant is by far the best! It wasnt even close, they had the best quality chicken, the best flavor sauce, and even the best egg roll! This place is definitely a step above the other places in the area.

This place is bottom of the barrel. When you walk in you practically choke on the smell of burning oil. The aesthetic of this place is very depressing; almost embarrassing. However, its super cheap. So for people on a budget this is your place, but you get what you pay for. Pacific Spice is where you should go until this place gets it together. I wish it did as I live close.

1)Spring rolls, Skinny like a finger and very bland. Mostly oil flavor. 2)Beef lo Mein, Awful! Like String flour...Blah 3)Rice, Ehh, Like from my kids school lunchroom. 4)Honey Chicken.... Did someone call this Chicken? More like a donut with a nibblet of chicken (I think it was chicken) somewhere inside. This was so bad I had to say something.

This place used to be outstanding, but something changed. I believe the owners or management and since then it has gone downhill. From the service to the quality of the food. It used to be crowded, but now when I pass by I barely see anyone there. They have lost my business to Mr. Won Ton on Canton Rd.

Whenever I order Chinese food, I tend to stick to my favorites - Sesame Chicken, General Tsos Chicken and Hot Pepper Chicken. Ive tried them in many restaurants, but found that Hong Kong on Bells Ferry makes THE BEST in the Kennesaw area.

The food was good but the customer service was appalling. My advice is to check your take out order carefully before leaving the restaurant. If there is a problem, as there was with mine, they are not happy to correct the problem.

Always order here. I have tried a majority of the Asian Restaurants in the Kennesaw/Acworth Area, hands down consistently good every time for well over 6 years of ordering here. Enjoyed many dishes. Great Steamed Dumplings.

I love this place, always fresh and great food! I never have chewy meat or anything. Best chinese place for KSU students for sure!! People are friendly, only bad thing is no delivery, but completely worth it!

I live in the neighborhood, and have taken home food from this restaurant many many times, and have not had one bad experience. That is the name of the game in the take out business. I highly recommend!

Great food, great prices. Very clean looking kitchen. Their English is horrible, so listen and speak carefully. Try the Orange Peel chicken, its amazing!
