Moved to the Gainesville area in September from San Antonio TX and stumbled upon this place. Coming from a large city with many options I was skeptical about this place because lets face it, Gainesville doesnt have any quality buffet places PERIOD. Id say the food is above average because its never tasted bad and Ive never gotten sick after eating here (been about 4/5 times). Sushi is a step above the other buffet joints in regards to freshness. Theres always someone making it. Hibachi is pretty standard but good. Havent experienced bad service as of yet. Basically, this is the best in the area unless youre willing to make the drive to Atlanta and fight traffic.

Great value! When Im feeling like cheap Chinese food, this is my #1 go to place. Go while lunch pricing is active. The additional dinner items are not really worth the extra money. Food is pretty good and its not expensive, hence the good value. They also make sushi, which my wife usually takes advantage of. I used to, but generally limit myself to the basic buffet stuff now. No reason other than I dont like sushi as much as I used to. I almost forgot to mention the hibachi grill. Thats a good option if you want something a little different and freshly prepared. All in all, great value. And after writing this, I may have to run there for lunch today!

It used to be pretty good, but there has been a constant downward trend in quality. It seems that every time I go the food is more stale than the last. Its pretty obvious when some dishes are out for a long time and/or have been reused from previous days. Also, the waitresses seem to be judgemental as I give my tip. Its a shame because this place used to be pretty good in previous years and the owners are nice. They should try to make a better commitment to freshness and quality then maybe this place can be restored. For now, Id reccomend avoiding this place. Try Chow King on Beaver Ruin Rd for a similar but much higher quality buffet.

Will not eat here again the green beans were cold the fried shrimp, crab rengoon, and general to as chicken were hard and very old from what we can tell. Im always one to eat my vegitables and fruit but if I can tell their old and not the temp they should be I only try one. I go to many food places and write reviews without being paid or told to. This is the worst expierence I have every had. All the negative reviews and boosted down to the bottom. Non of the reviews are even in a timeline order. To top it all off I waited 8 minutes for someone to cook my order at dinner time. We WILL NOT be back

My family loves this place. Good price and huge selection. Love the sushi, hibachi, hot food, pizza, fries and chicken nuggets for the individual who is afraid to try other dishes, fruits and vegetables, and large selection of dessert with real ice cream (my kids favorite part next to the hibachi). Great staff and service. Big place. Very clean. Lunch prices are lower than dinner. Dinner prices all day Sundays. Highly recommended!

Most mediocre and run of the mill Chinese buffet Ive ever been to. They didnt even have ginger dressing for the salad, and the sushi left something to be desired. Most of them had cream cheese in the middle which is some weird fad nowadays. I will say the staff was great and the sesame chicken was quite nice, but I dont think it deserves the 5 star reviews.

Ive been coming here for about 4 years. Used to be the spot to go for lunch. But its gone down hill a little bit. Still good value (cheap weekday lunch buffet) but food is becoming just so so. Wouldnt go out of my way by any means but will still pop in from time to time. But its on the verge of not being good anymore.

My gf found a roach crawling across her food. My son and I were disgusted and did not even finish our first plate of food, but the owner still made me pay for our meals even after we showed him. There are better places and a lot cheaper to eat. Dont go unless you like roaches joining your meal.

This place is a garbage... trust me I have eaten many places in the world. Thus far this one is the lowest . I should not even given one star they do not even deserve. Food is awful full of bad attitute. My dog will refuse to eat from this place. Please do not go to this place .waste of money.

Have never been here and enjoyed it. Its your typicly priced Chinese buffet with well below average food. Never tastes fresh and Ive never been in here for dinner when there were more than twenty people total. I dont know what lunch is like but avoid dinner at all costs.

I have been looking for a good Chinese restaurant since I moved here a year and a half ago.. I think I found it!!! The egg tart is to die for! My husband loved the fish!! I will drive from lula to Buford to come here again!! Most definitely :)

Ive known the owners for years. Theyre great. And the food is awesome. With great service. Just upset they stopped making the jalapeño poppers. But the sushi and dessert and everything else is great. Id definitely recommend this restaurant.

First of all there was not enough selection. The food was not fresh, and there me was a terrible odor that smelled like bad sewage coming from the restroom. Such a waste of money , it was awful . This was my first and last time coming here.

The owner is terrible. He is not smart at all with terrible customer service. He was embarrassed because we said the food was warm & he wasnt trying to hear it. They also use food from the day before. Please dont spend your money here.

We just moved to Buford and ate here 3 times already, and in the first week. Well above average, clean and nice. I really enjoyed the hibachi. The sushi was good, maybe could use a bit more variety. Excellent selection overall.

They have an all you can eat sushi and many carts with lots of food but it seems the carts are always the same food.they should mix it up and put out a few different items each week.I go at least 1 time ever two weeks.

Out of the 8 buffet stations, the sushi bar and hibachi counter, maybe one dish is a trial and a miss, but the food is great and the desserts are better than other places. Good for lunch as well. Check it out :)

Best Asian buffet weve had by far! Very clean, great service and great price. We visit Buford (Mall of Georgia) several times a year and since finding the Asian Grill, its the our #1 choice for a great meal.

I understand if some think not giving tip is cheap but the server keep point at the tip section basically demanding me to put a tip. This use to be on of my fav places to go. They just lost my business
