1. food was decent but not for the price and area 2. half the dishes were unavailable 3. Tiny servings of banchan and barley and refills 4. inattentive staff Saw reviews on this place on line, was looking forward to trying it. 1st issue we came across is that if the owner isnt there you cant get half the dishes on the menu, i dont understand how this happen personally but ok lets move on. We sit and get menus, and read all about the banchan, the side dishes, my wife and i were very interested from reading that. we see the prices which were rather high for the area but we were thinking you will get a ton of banchan. We order 2 stone bowls, beef and kimchie pork, we get the side dishes finally brought out, very small amounts per each thing which is odd. We begin to eat the food its pretty good, the stone bowls and side dishes were all great. We cleared out most of the side dishes and asked for refills. We got some refilled not all, we finish other side dishes and ask for refills on those, it took forever but we eventually got some. Keep in mind the refills amounted to one serving, meaning only a tiny bit that one person can finish in one bite, we thought this odd. We progress with our meals and ask for more banchan, and the waitress sort of disappeared. Eventually comes over and when we ask for refills on the banchan, we come to find out they dont give refills on the banchan? We were stumped how can a Korean restaurant not give refills on banchan, and when they do give you such a small amount, and to boot charge such a huge price for a dish that isnt very expensive to begin with? Heres where the waitress tried to justify it by saying most of clientele is non Korean, while there i was the only cracker there with 5 other tables so non Koreans dont expect it, this was told to my wife who is Korean by the way so we pretty much just gave up then and there and hurried to finish and leave. Ive been to countless Korean restaurants here and in Korea, so this sort of thing was bizarre and new to me, and ive worked food service for years, hate to ding the place like this but it was merited there are also a ton of other places with better prices and friendlier staff If you want a great stone bowl with unlimited banchan refills go to E M Bop in alpharetta

Spectacular authentic Korean food. The side dishes are made fresh on a daily basis by the Korean owner who received some recognition back in Kentucky. There is a small episode on Eater on YouTube if you want to check it out. The prices are a bit steep vs. Some of the other Korean restaurants around the area, but I definitely prefer the quality. They have a selection of bibimbap (mixed rice with vegetables and your choice of meat), soups, Korean meats, and other traditional dishes. The side dishes probably get switched out between seasons, but we got some pickled cucumber that had a slightly sweet kick to it. Very nice. The place might be a bit hard to find, as part of the sign is in Korean. But it is located in a small shopping area towards the end next to a Chinese restaurant.

Not sure if I, and my girlfriend were discriminated against or this place is understaffed. We waited about 15-20 minutes for service during this time at least two to three other customers or groups of customers entered and were served before us. They were not busy. Food was pretty good I would eat here again, but I probably wont. Atmosphere is nice, and once served our experience did improve a bit. The prices at this place are way higher than expected. Not really sure why considering a farmers market is literally down the road that has everything they probably need, but I am assuming they know this. Anyway might be worth a shot if you want some legit Korean food. Concerning the check we had to get our waitress attention to pay.

Loved it!!!!! The rice in the stone bowl was cooked to perfection- something Ive tried to imitate at home in my own stone bowl but just cant seem to manage. I ordered the vegetable and mushroom bimbimbap in a soy sauce and it was really incredible. All their side dishes felt fresh and were delicious. Only complaint is that a drunk, obnoxious man was there with his wife and yelled the ENTIRE meal. My nerves were pretty shattered and so were theirs. I know its difficult but he should have been removed- the rest o the restaurant was pretty crowded and all looked uncomfortable. Food was great though truly

I have been to this restaurant a couple times and has an amazing experience. Great food and staff. I was so excited to bring my sister for her birthday (her first time) along with 4 other friends and family. We walked in an hour before closing. An hour. And the server said we are closing you need to order fast. Not only did we feel rushed she hovered over our table and came back to ask if we are ready to pay multiple times. Made my family and I very uncomfortable. Sadly to say I will never be back nor recommend this restaurant to anyone because of the poor service we received.

The side dishes are good, the waitresses speak English and the dipping sauce for the pancake was good. Other than that I think that I would not go back. They had a light on the wall that flickered the whole time we ate, not to mention the whole restaurant is dimly lit which gave me a headache when I got back into the sunshine. The waitresses were nice and friendly constantly refilled our water and the womens restroom was impeccably clean! I think the food is a bit over priced so I wouldnt recommend going after lunch which ends at 3:30pm.

Talk about some GREAT FOOD. I loved the bulgagi. I wanted something that had a lot of protein, and I got it. The rest of the food was fantastic and the small dishes they serve with the entrees are great. Would not even know how to describe them. I was not terribly impressed with server, I was rather disappointed honestly. A lot of reviewers say they have great service so maybe it was an off night. Beer and Wine selection limited, but its okay. I do not recommend Hite the Korean beer, its just like a Bud Light.

I visited the restaurant second times with American friends to introduce Korean foods. Each time I felt the same way! Even though their foods were nice, their service was the worst experience that Ive had. They were understaffed so its not easy to get their service when we entered. Even worse, the staff put the water and other foods on the table rudely. In addition, they were very unkind to explain the menu. From that time, I have never been to there with other American friends.
