Good Location, close to downtown and if you ever find your self on Euclid Ave., craving for some Indian food, Id still drive a few miles out to another place instead of this. The place from outside, gels well with the neighborhood and not too bad. The seating and the arrangement at first look from the door looks OK but once you get to your table, yikes, they could use some cleaning. Looks like there were some kids throwing food around and no one bothered to clean up the wall forever. The walls could certainly use some water and cleanup. The menus arrive promptly but wait, looks like the menus come with the food in them. Again, wouldnt hurt to get some new menus or at least a cleanup with a wet towel. These menus have seen some abuse. Menu has quite a variety and first time we have ever seen an Ox Tail in an Indian restaurant. Surely, we were not brave enough to try this particularly with the long menu with a lot of variety. The papad for appetizer arrived promptly but we sure did not know that the food would arrive 35 minutes later. We waited and waited and waited listening to the really loud TV. The food aint that bad after all, but could certainly use less oil. The Nans were well made but again, could use less butter. While the Tofu Achari (a variety we havent seen before) wasnt all that bad with a good quantity, the cleanliness of the place is a definite turn off. And the folks in the kitchen were so happy for what ever reason, we suddenly heard some loud singing and later some loud discussions. Wonder what this entertainment was for. A carry out might not be such a bad idea if you have no other options, but if you are looking for some nice restaurant under good atmosphere, get it some where else. One less restaurant on our GPS.

I just ordered from here for the first time through Doordash. Doordash performed great....the restaurant however was another story. This is quite possibly the worst Indian food I have ever had. Ordered a couple of simple items: Samosas, chicken tikka massala, and Chana massala....very basic. Wow....how do you screw this up? The potatoes in the Samosas were so hard they were crunchy. The Chana had ZERO flavor...I mean none. The chicken was terrible...hard. Nothing was fresh...I have no idea who is rating this stuff 5 stars. Being of Indian descent myself I know what good Indian is.....and this is the complete opposite. Shame on the owners for putting this crap out there....

I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN AND WILL RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE TO NEVER COME HERE! A gentleman who referred to himself as the manager literally told my friend that he was "wasting his time" because everything he ordered was out/not available. UNBELIEVABLE! My friend stated that this was NOT the first time he was treated rudely at this restaurant but wanted to give it another chance. What a waste of time?! If youre in the area, I would highly recommend visiting Niramish (which is walking distance from PB). If you are looking for a place with good food and great service (even place your napkin in your lap), check out Niramish! SKIP PLANET BOMBAY!

This is written by Marcys husband, Michael. Marcy and the kids were out of town when I got samosas and chicken saag from Planet Bombay. First, I waited 20 minutes inside the restaurant for my take-out, even though it was supposed to be ready when I got there. My car was booted for parking illegally, unknowingly, at the food co-op next door (my mistake, but it still sucked). The food was ok at best. The kicker is what happened over the next two days. I had severe stomach cramping and green diarhea for 48 hours with frequent running to the bathroom. Needless to say, I will NOT get take-out from Planet Bombay again!

My husband and I have been searching high and low for a great Indian restaurant that isnt a really long drive from Newnan. We are so happy to have discovered Planet Bombay. Its only about a 30 minute drive, which is perfectly reasonable even for a middle of the week meal. The food was delicious--best Tikka Masala and Paratha Ive ever had. My husband had one of their goat dishes and raved about it. Service was very attentive. Food arrived very quickly. The only drawback is theres not a lot of good parking in the area, but thats typical for L5P. We will be back and frequently.

I have been to this restaurant many times over the years and have always enjoyed the idea of returning back to get my favorite shrimp malai curry. I do not think I will be dining in again because the waiter spilled water all over our table and my lap and my phone. This is forgivable, but the fact that they did not discount the meal nor ask if the phone was ruined etc was in poor taste. The food is really good, so good I will probably order to go, but it is unfortunate that they did not have the wherewithal to make up for the mistake.

Im going to give it a 4 because the food was on point and well executed. The restaurant itself is nothing to look at and I will forgo being overly critical of the service but hopefully my server was on his first week, not impressed. The lunch menu was reasonably priced but overall unless you consider that most all meals are portion sized for two adults then I would consider the regular menu over priced. If you are looking for sit down Indian cuisine dining in little five points then its worth checking out.

I have been going this place all the times. Planet Bombay stand out for great food and excellent service. Friday night I was there with few friends from Emory University. We really enjoy their food and hospitality. This is the first time I am writing review in google but I wrote about planet Bombay in yelp also. I like chicken Tikka Masalla and Lamb Vindaloo with Nagaland spice level. If you love killer hot curry dont forget to try nagaland hot - this will make you turn on immediately . We will be back

TERRIBLE FOOD! I was fed RAW CHICKEN and I called to ask for a refund. The manager called me "a liar" and told me "I shouldnt have bitten in the RAW CHICKEN in the first place." It was chicken tandoori that was covered in a rub, how could I have possibly seen the center of the piece and discovered it was fully cooked. The manager basically told me "Im an idiot and I should be more careful"... NO COSTUMER SERVICE! Plus, I didnt get my refund. DONT EAT HERE!

Dont let the exterior fool you--this place is definitely 5-star. In my opinion, they have the best Indian food and service in America; nothing Ive had before or since then has come close. When I lived near Atlanta, I was in here once a month, and the service and food was always flawless. Bring a date and try their 5-course meals for two. Every course is awesome and they also have delicious vegetarian options. You cant go wrong at Planet Bombay.

The food was sub par. I found it strange that both my chicken and my mutton were missing bones. This restaurant makes american friendly indian food. Which is dull in seasonings. To put it plainly, it looks like baby food. The food came out luke warm. Waiters huddle around you. I was asked if the food was good 6 times in one meal. If you want watered down food and experience come here. If you want the real deal take a trip to smyrna.
