Holy incompetence, Batman. If youre checking reviews to decide whether to eat here or not, let me help counsel you: dont. If you turn ~180 degrees--see that food court over there? Anything there will be a better choice and better value than here. Thankfully IHOP Express is not representative of the IHOP brand you experience elsewhere. Staff varies from friendly and helpful to inattentive-rather-be-elsewhere-doing-anything-but-my-job. And unfortunately for those one or two staff that are actually focused and trying to do a good job, the management here has allowed them to be outnumbered by employees who just dont care. And if you plan on eating here as a farewell breakfast with your family members, IHOP Express may or may not forget that you even placed an order, leave you hanging, and send said loved ones foodless through security. Nothing "express" about this place except rising frustration levels, or perhaps the desire that one day soon, this location will be a prime prototype restaurant to have its services entirely replaced. By robots. Under present management, this restaurant does not deserve to be in business. Come on, ATL, youre the busiest airport in the country. You can do better than this.

MY DOLLARS MATTER I usually eat at Shanes but with my latest experience I have no desire to waste my money @ Shanes or the I Hop in the Atlanta Airport. I had a problem with my order so I asked for a partial refund. The Cashier had.me waiting for over ten plus minutes. I question her again she said someone was coming from the back. They came and said they could refund my order because someone went home with the card. They went over to the I Hop and got a Supervisor name Carmeron. He came over he could refund my money. I told him the situation was unacceptable Ive been waiting going on a hour it seemed to me. He looked at the receipt and said actually your recipient says you was rung up at 6:42 its now 7:12 pm. He stood there and start showing the receipt two other cashiers saying look is this an hour. I was so embarrassed because hes doing this while other customers are waiting in line. I then told him to refund all my money back to my credit card. Bad customer service and bad management. My Dollar Matters.

Not Express. I have been told to wait at the table for the order to be taken. I tried the side behind the partition with the high table with receptacles. None of the receptacles worked. 10 minutes into it, no waiter. I went to the counter to order. Manager suggested for the table in the back with the receptacle. It was taken so I opted for the table on the other side in the direct line of site from the register, to make sure I can be easily seen. Half of the tables in front had customers, eating or waiting, the other half still had dirty dishes. I have not been offered water or brough up my tea. Little over 30 minutes after I sat (40 minutes total, no kidding), my dinner arrived. I had to ask for silverware and remind them about the tea I ordered. Silverware arrived with a coffee and I had to ask for the tea again. The manager did suggest not to give any tip, neverthelss I left $2 tip on $13 bill. Very poorely, they did do their job. But I, the customer, did leave with a bad taste in my mouth.

As I walk in I read small signs stating to order at the counter when you are ready. Walked up to counter and waited patiently with a smile. The employees were talking with one another then looked at me and told me to have a seat, someone would be with me. Ok, I go to a table and wait. Im ready to order but no one shows. I dont see anyone else being waited on...again with the employees talking. Several other employees are also sitting together eating. Maybe it was their break. I wait. There are no customers in line nor looking to be waited on. Still no one. I walk to the front counter again and politely stated that I did not want to wait any longer and thank you. The worker stated, you can order at the counter. He attitude and tone was nasty for someone in customer service. I just kept walking. Never again.

Had the luxury of being at the airport for an extended period of time overnight and a day. Woke up for breakfast and chose this location. Now I finished eating and was getting some lite reading in, and instead offering coffee or any other suggestions I was constantly reminded of 90 minute time limit for me go sit there because they wont make any money if Im occupying space. I get it there had been some transients causing trouble the day before but if you have an actual customer in the restaurant the only thing stopping you from making money is your thought process. Location needs some sales help.

I write this review at a different restaurant. Here is why: 45 minutes after giving my order to the waitress, not even my glass of water has arrived. The entire time I was there not a single server checked on us to see if we were doing okay. We ended up leaving, getting through TSA pre-check and stopping near a sit down restaurant near our gate to end the anxiety we would be late for our flight. In case you demand breakfast food, I highly recommend you order at the front before even sitting down. Leave the tip at the table so you can find put for yourself.

Not good. staff is not well trained. probably needs new management. staff was lazy and inattentive. my order was never placed after I paid. after waiting 15 minutes I asked about my food, yeah you guessed it, they are not even making it. I had to go so I got a refund, but the fact that they acted stupid and ignorant as " oh you havent gotten your food yet as surprised". Im sitting here looking at you with a WTF is my food for 15 minutes. what do you think?? never again!!!!

Food is decent, like all ihops. But service was lacking. The staff would rather sit around talking than take my order. And I sat at a dirty table. When I looked for a clean table to move to I could not find one. Not in the whole place. And Im not an unreasonable neat freak. But there was syrup and crumbs on every table. Cannot recommend.

Terrible service...waited 15 minutes for a drink with an empty restaurant....then actually had to get up and ask another waiter to get my food off the pass that Id been staring at for a whole other 15 minutes...while my waiter flirted with another male customer. Its not express....youll get better service at the Burger King.

I never thought Id say this about an airport restaurant, but this was the best IHOP Ive been to in the entire country. The food was incredible! I got the bacon, pancakes, and scrambled eggs with cheese- and WOW. The service was on the slow side but my food came out within 5 minutes. Cant wait to come back!!

Worst experience says express but simple food takes almost an hour nobody cares, no planning. They need a manager and food expediter. Every body working here are walking around in circles but no one cares. Thank god people like me are crazy to eat here atleast spend the money on a mom and pop place
