Great local coffee joint. Friendly staff, damn good coffee, and a great place to hang. Despite being in a part of town that may not seem "chic", Community Grounds attracts a very diverse clientele, and everybody seems friendly and happy. There is plenty of seating if you wanna pull out your laptop and work, or just sit and relax and do some serious people-watching. Did I forget to mention how good the coffee is? It is amazingly good. If theyre brewing it, my fave is their coffee named "Dirty Nekkid Lady". If youre not from the South, you HAVE to say that with a twang. Aside from being funny, this coffee is sooo good I had to buy some beans to bring home. Last but not least, they have their own private parking lot.

Great cafe which is an extension of a community grocery store. Excellent regular coffee optioms as well as some of their own unique creations. They have fresh and tasty baked goods from the best bakeries. Clean and comfortable with several places to plug in computers. Easy connection to decent wifi. The grocery store has affordable and healthy items. The cafe also has books that can be taken and added back. Very community oriented space. Free parking is in a gravel lot next door. Located no too far east from the University Ave exit off of the I-75/85 connector.

If I’m not mistaken, this is the shop located inside of the carver market. I actually go out of my way sometimes for their Iced Chai, which they offer with dairy-free milk, huge plus for me. I also love their breakfast croissants! I go grab an avocado from the market side and they cut it up and throw it on my custom order, where else can you do that?

Great coffee (honestly, their smores specialty tastes like actual roasted marshmallows), great desserts and sandwiches. A great place to get some homework done. Reasonable prices and friendly baristas. One of my favorite Atlanta cafes. Oh, plus they have a library and a space for group meetings. Right next to a great neighborhood market.

Great local place. The coffee and pastries are all quite solid, and the prices are very friendly. Great people, great environment. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with community events, or kids loitering (never thought Id actually use that word), but other than that its a great place to get work done.

Community Grounds Cafe is South Atlanta BEST KEPT SECRET!!!! The coffee and food taste great. The customer service is awesome. The staffs are friendly and welcoming. The coffee shop is connected to the local grocery store; with lots of organic/freshly grown produces. Def recommend this place.

Its nice to know that I dont have to drive all the way to Starbucks to enjoy a groovy space and get some work done. CGC is literally right in my back yard. I love it and Joe is really nice too. Great spot!

Nice people. Pretty solid coffee. Definitely pioneers in the area and I like that about them. Because of this their menu is pretty sparse but what Ive had Ive enjoyed. Worth a visit.
