Just awful. My family has been going to Ay Jalisco at its Vero locations for years but this new location has ruined its reputation. While the food is still good, the service is horrible. After giving this location a retry about five times, all waitresses that have served us have a "couldnt care less" attitude, are never in sight if we need a refill or anything, and service is incredibly SLOW all across the board. Earlier this week we went for dinner and I ordered a side of guacamole. The menu listed this item for $3.25 yet our bill said $4.75 for side of guacamole. I addressed this with the waitress (as we have mistakenly been charged for the appetizer portion in the past) and she told me they raised the price of the guacamole due to avocado costs. Fine, but the menu should have reflected this change! When I said the menu priced this item differently, she rudely shrugged saying "well I dont know what you want me to do about it" and took our check. I should not have let her charge us for it. I dont care about the price change, but it is WRONG to price something in a menu and then change it on the receipt. When I ordered it from the beginning she should have given me the heads up on the price change. But I guess its ok to list something in the menu at an inaccurate price? This should have been handled differently but the waitress did not care to make it right. After having what was a delicious meal in spite of awful service, I left incredibly annoyed at the way this was handled. I understand it sounds silly to be upset about a dollar difference, but the unprofessionalism and rudeness of the waitress and the principle of the matter needs to be addressed.

the salsa was spicy and refrshing . service was good. but it was disappoint ing when i got the chimichanga. Ive eatten at a Tex Mex place that serves a better chimichanga than this.(Tijuana Flats south in port ST. Lucy. and Melbourne) Deadpool would be ashamed. :< also has curros from there and it really feels like the atmosphere puts you there. but no heart in the food . its alright but just not up to my standard. better offf going to taco dive or tres hermanos.

Americanized crap. We had high hopes based on the Google reviews. We even thought the long wait was an indication of everyone wanting to eat there. Turns out it was just a busy Friday. It took less than 10 minutes for the queso dip to revert back to its original block form. The burritos were terrible. Drowning in sharp cheddar. Not exactly Mexican. For anyone whos eaten real Mexican food in their life, steer clear. Youll be out 50$ wishing youd gone elsewhere.

The only reason it has 1 star is because thats the only way to write a review!!!! 2nd time eating here and again terrible service the food was cold !!! Our sever did not care at all grabbed our plates slammed them on each other and said pay for the beer?? We said yes! She never apologized never offered to fix it! Just absolutely aggravated with this 1!!! Weve always had better service at the other 2 so if we go again we will stay for away from the 1 off US1!!!

I ordered enchilada and taco lunch special. My plate arrived with no refried bean for the dinner plate. The cheese on the food was slice of melted American cheese which didnt go well with the food!. I left very discouraged because this is a chain in Vero and if they all serve American cheese they need to post it on the door and save my time and money. They posted no guacamole at about 2 pm. Really??? Theres Publix, Wal-Mart nearby, go buy some!!!

Good Texmex food, probably the best in the city. Foods always hot and fresh, nice drinks too, especially the micheladas. Would have given them a 5, but thier table salsa is a little dull and taste like they used canned tomato sauce,"sorry ay jalisco", so I always request the salsa verde which is fresher and a lot tastier, makes me a happy camper. Other than that, its always a treat to go ay jalisco for Mexican eats.

No stars at all for this place. Went in with a party of 13 to celebrate my sons dance recital and was informed they could not split up checks at all...really what kind of restaurant does not have the ability to split checks?? It is called different bills.....when we asked to speak to a manager he never came over to us so we left...will never set foot on another one of these places period!!

Ay Jalisco is average just Mexican food, average margaritas, and inexpensive beer. Nothing special here... so why go at all? Their service is good. Sometimes you need a simple Americanized ground beef taco and a beer. Maybe your tired of taking the family out to the numerous Italian restaurants in the area and are just looking for different (and not spicy).

Beautiful place with friendly waitors. The young man who was the host that was not the best, the woman at the bar had to get his attention to the fact that i was waiting infont of him. He was counting tips I guess. Beautiful hand painted tables and booths. Id post a photo of the food but it looked so good I just started eatting it... huge portions.

We ate here one time while on vacation. Its operates like a Mexican restaurant from a couple decades ago, with a menu rife with choices bit a little short of refinement. The same can be said for the food and service. Its just an okay place, but there is nothing to complain about. Its a serviceable place for a Mexican meal.

After the move to the new location the food and service has been inconsistent. On multiple occasions the food has been either cold when it reaches the table or other issues have plagued the dish. Service is another issue all together, usually just ok. Hoping for improvement.

The food has become increasingly bland. It used to be spicy. When you eat at a Mexican Restaurant you expect spicy food. The salsa was bland and the chips had no salt at all. Our main meals tasted blah. This used to be our favorite restaurant in Vero Beach but no more.

A very nice and Casual Mexican restaurant which is not top of the line but where the food is sort of decent. One of my friends says its good tex mex but we went in today and had an extremely extremely long wait for our food at about 1 p.m. and they were not crowded

Went there because a friend told me he heard good things about it. I was not even close to impressed. I got the Carne asada burrito and there was more bell pepper and onion in there than meat. And they topped it with so much cheese that made it even worse.

WOW! I cant explain how enthralled I am with this restaurant. My husband and I go once a month as a lunch date bcuz of the excellent service and amazing prices. So much food for the price. I had to write this review they deserve it!
