First let me start by saying we love breakfast at the Corner Cafe. However, just because you can carry a notepad and take an order doesnt mean you should work in the service industry. It takes a certain personality, attitude and ability and all of the service staff are lacking in these essential areas. We see a lot of "older" staff that would maybe be better suited to work at the "Waffle House" than a place like the Corner Cafe. Our server never smiled, said "thank you", "how was everything" or even said one word when we were leaving. We also sat in front of empty water glasses for the last 10 minutes we were there. This is pretty consistent with all of our experiences at the Corner Cafe. The owners or management clearly have no idea how to properly staff a service bases business. If you cant smile, FAKE IT! If you are a miserable person, HIDE IT. Otherwise get the heck out of a business where your income is derived from SERVICE! This last experience was the last straw. I will no longer deal with bad attitudes and bad service no matter how good the food is.

The food was fine, the manager however unintentionally, was very insulting. I for one will never return. A patron asked him about his daughter and he responded: " I told her never to date a guy that was in the military." I served my country for 20 years in the USMC, I met my beautiful wife while in the Marines, I had my beautiful daughter while in the Marines and all I could think was that if every father gave their daughter the same advice I would have neither. With this being the evening of July 3rd mere hours from our Independence you would think a person might have a bit more respect for our veterans that have fought and continue to fight to ensure the freedoms of all Americans. He of course is free to express his disdain for the military and I of course am free to take my business elsewhere.

I went to Corner Cafe & Brewery for breakfast the other day (so I tried the food but not the beer). The food here is absolutely amazing. The Marie Antoinette is fantastic. When you look at the description, it sounds odd (like many of the menu items), but I cant describe how good it tastes. If youre in the mood for something a little more familiar, the breakfast sandwiches are great as well. I saw other peoples food, and everything looked amazing. Ill be back later to try other foods and the beers. This place is now at the top of my list for great places to eat.

The food is very good but, the service is terrible. After not seeing the waitress for 20 minutes, I found them sitting in the back of the restaurant and when I asked for a refill on my water, was told I could refill the glass myself. The owner, or some very serious older man took our food order like he was doing us a favor. My friend asked for another beer and never received a new one.. hey, if you dont like what youre doing, you should close down and try something you like. Wont be back. They did have live music and the singer and guitar player where fantastic.

Tucked away on Waterway at US1, this place is definitely worth looking for! Weve been there several times, and the food is always great and the service friendly. The daily specials are always interesting and reasonable! They also make their own lox -- its some of the best Ive ever had! Steaks, Seafood, Pasta, sometimes homemade ice cream for dessert. The food is excellent, and different -- nothing ever "same old, same old" here! Enjoy!

I am the manager of the corner cafe and apologize for comments I made that were misunderstanding Someone asked me about me daughter and I told them how she changed. I said she told me she would never date anyone in the military and now is engaged to an active army member I respect and admire people in the military. My son is active in the marines. I have nothing but praise for the people who serve.

Incredible food...no really the food is fantastic. The staff is a delight I cannot think of enough superlatives to say about them and this place.There were four of us for dinner and every dish was delicious. The beer is good too! Go. Eat. Love!

We like to eat local when traveling around Florida. We chose this due to that. But we were concerned when we saw some of the reviews in regards to service. But I have to tell you the food was fantastic and the service was absolutely wonderful.

Awesome breakfast options and a really good local brewery. You can order food from the cafe and theyll bring it over to the bar. Definitely recommend the Chancellor dip with sausages.
