If you require a minimum purchase during open mics and poetry readings, thats fine. But please do not be so incredibly rude about it next time! A friend and I heard about you and were excited to attend a poetry reading, we showed up but did not carry cash. An extremely unkind waitress did not explain the rule, and instead of being nice called us out for not having money infront of everyone! We love to support small businesses and were excited about the event, but having the owner walk over to our table in such an unfriendly way, simply because we did not know about the 10$ minimum charge was unwarranted. If you are going to have a rule like that, fine but make it clear. Not everyone is going to know about a minimum charge--sometimes you get new clients. Know that we came with the intention of supporting local writers and were very rudely turned away. Disappointing experience for such a cool looking place.

Great little funky place. Music usually wonderful but watch out for the monthly youth open mike if you dont do cute and its not your kid. Amazing international beer, porter, stout and cider selection. Moderately priced, and there is a cover charge that varies based on the entertainment - but its always noted on the front door, menu and table card so if like some of the Bozos who have posted here youre "surprised" by it, you need to cultivate some ambient sensibilities.

Great food and atmosphere! Got there @ 6:30pm with a friend for a bite and chat, very unique homemade menu: we ate gnocchi with pesto, a capicola sandwich, table of cheeses and beer-coffee. Owner operated and very pop and mom vibe, laid back. Note: on open mic- live music night they require a min purchase, cash only. Not a problem since is totally worth it, I will call ahead.

they Should Expand More As Far A Doing Debit And Not Just Cash Only. Nice place pretty small not enough seats. I had to give my seat for a couple makes no sense but hey what can you do.
