Our first, and last visit. We like to support small business. Saw the reviews and wanted to give it a try. First, the service. It was not good. Waitress was friendly enough and promptly took our order. Thats were it ended. She brought the drinks first, or should I say drink. We ordered two ice teas, simple right. She brought only one, then said she was sorry she forgot it should be two and then brought the second, no big deal. A few minutes later she shows up and asks if she took our order. Seriously, you couldnt remember taking our order a few minutes ago. Mind you the place wasnt busy yet and there were not a lot of people. Then a bit later she brought the food. One order was a meatball sub, the other was suppose to be two slices of the Villa Rina Special pizza. But what she brought was two slices of plain cheese pizza. Mentioned the pizza order was wrong and what it should be. She said sorry, took it back. Later she returned with pizza that just had the other ingredients tossed on the pizza. Obviously not what I expect and Im sure not the way it should have been prepared. The meatball sub was good but nothing special. We both said we felt there would be no need to return. Disappointing service, disappointing pizza. Sad, cause I was really looking forward to dining there after reading the reviews.

Every year we take my daughter and two carload so f her firends to the beach for the day. Every time we order the 25" Pizza and everyone wants to know where it came from. Tony Does a great job of wrapping it in foil for us, and an hour later, its still hot when we arrive at Ft. DeSoto!! We have a van and so we slide it in from in back, under the back seats, fits perfectly. Everything about this pizza is amazing. First the crust - Its REAL, not the sorta-crust you get a franchises, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. The sauce is mild and non acid. The meats are the amazing part. All of them are like home made. Dont know how they get it - but nobody has meat like them. Really tastes good, not dripping with grease, just lean flavorful meats. If you want a good eat and want to impress - go with the 25" meat pizza!!!!

A great place to come in from the cold. Sitting next to the warm pizza lights felt great. What do you do the other 360 days in Florida when this does not matter? You can eat the wonderful food. First off, reasonable slice/drink combo deal. Worked great for the kids. Best of all, the guy brought the pizza out first knowing the kids were going to eat it. Big score with parents. Pizza came on big plates the kids could easily handle. The cheesesteak was enjoyable as well. The bathrooms in the place score a 5 out of 5, because although not large or pristine, they are set up in a way that you can use the restroom without actually having to touch anything other than paper towels. Service was actually above what I would expect from a little pizza joint. Would go here again if in the area.

A co-worker suggested this place after passing it by so many times over years so my wife and I gave it a try and were pleasantly surprised! The pizza was very good. Usually, I dont eat pizza crust but Villa Rinas pizza crust was very crispy or crunchy in a crust sort-of-way that I ate every crust. We returned a second time and ordered cannolis and again were very pleased! The filling had a very nice cheese flavor thats hard to find around here with a touch of cinnamon. My only caveat is that we thought that while the pizza sauce was very fresh, it was somewhat one note and could use a little more depth of herb or spice. Not a deal breaker by any means...well be back.

We were in Tampa with our sons soccer team for a tournament. Tony (the owner) prepared dinner for nearly 50 people for our team and their families. We are from the Northeast and are picky about our pizza/italian food. I can honestly say that the food was fantastic. Tony prepared Chicken Parmesean, Penne Pasta, Salad and a variety of pizzas. His prices were very reasonable and the portions were large. Tony and his staff were awesome. They provided a level of service that exceeded our expectations!

Pizza was delicious but the customer service was awful. Rude from the beginning when I called to place my order, food was delivered incorrect, and when I called to let them know it was wrong they tried to make it seem as if I ordered it incorrectly and it wasnt their fault. They did bring the correct pizza in the end but even the delivery guy was rude when he dropped it off. If you are looking for good food but bad service then this is the place to go.

Philly Cheese is awesome. Pizza is thin crust, large slice. Prices are very reasonable, almost cheap. The mom and daughter team working the counter are usually more interested in conversing among themselves than delivering good customer service. My food was thrown on to the counter towards me in a rushed, rude manner. I hear da guest ask if it was "like" NY Pizza, which it clearly is, and she rudely responded, "Dont know, Im from Philly". What a B.

Placed order by phone and was quoted 45-60 minutes for delivery. An hour and 20 minutes later, still no pizza. I called and they said the driver was about to leave just now. They never thought to call to inform me of the delay and give an updated ETA. They didnt even offer a discount and when asked, all they offered was 10% off. A whole $2 dollars off. Poor service. Will never order from here again.

Had the urge for Boneless Breaded Chicken Wings they had them but not breaded, they said it was kind of breaded so I got 8 $8 I also asked if it would be enough to satisfy me that said yes. When I got them in the bat it didnt have any weight to so when got to my car I took a look. 8 1 inch by half inch thick pieces of chicken breast for call it $9 after taxes. LOOK BEFOR YOU BUY.

THIS PLACE IS TRULY AMAZING, THE FOOD IS OUTSTANDING AN MY TASTEBUDS ARE SATISFIED EVERYTIME I LEAVE HERE . THE SERVICE HERE IS EXCELLENT I FEEL RIGHT AT HOME EVERYTIME I GO TO VISIT TONY. THE PRICES ARNT BAD WHICH MAKES IT A GREAT PLACE FOR LUNCH OR DINNER WITH THE BETTER HALF OR THE WHOLE FAMILY. BUT DONT TAKE MY WORD FOR IT , STOP BY ANYDAY BUT SUNDAY :)!

Love this place since the New owner took it over. Jamie and his crew are beautiful people. So friendly and the food is always fresh and delicious. Im from Jersey so I know good pizza. Two hour wait on my order , and excuses that there are busy, out of delivery area which i was 2.5 well within delivery ,& delivery boy ask me to go outside to get my order & realized it and still the food was cold and i ask to speak w the owner no response ( ugh..) so miss when Tony owned this place. Sorry but you lost my business
