Told the manager that there was a white male outside the parking lot trying to scheme people into giving him money. He gave a fake story that he had no money and if I could give him some spare change, I declined. However, when I went inside I told the manager that there was a man trying to lie to people for money and also going up and down the parking lot checking if doors were left unlocked. She lied to my face and said she was going to call the police and she did not call, as soon as I walked away she laughed with another co-woker as if the situation was funny. Had something happen to someone while going to eat at sweet tomatoes because of this ignorant manger at this location, it could of possibly be a law suit, due to the fact that she was advised of the situation. I hope someone from upper management is reading this and gets rid of her. Her description is heavy-set, Hispanic, black hair, I did not get her name because she did not introduced herself. Sad world we live in, I was very bothersome about this.

I used to enjoy Sweet Tomatoes, but I purchased a gift card as a Christmas gift two weeks ago and have yet to receive it. I asked for a refund, and they directed me to fine print on their website that says they do not guarantee refunds. How long does it take to mail a gift card? Ive ordered several this holiday season from other businesses and have had no issues with anyone else. In addition to this, the customer service representatives were extremely rude. I refuse to continue to support a business that cant issue a refund for a service they were unable to perform and speaks to their customers in such a discourteous way. I wont be back again.

Never again! The worst Caesars salad Ive eaten thus far, Im used to my lettuce being crisp. This salad was probably fresh yesterday. Heres a hint it has to be less than four hours old (unrefrigerated) to be consider fresh, its kind of hard to mess up a salad with less than five essential ingredients. That set the tone for what came next, clam/pork chowder. I am a New England error by birth and bacon in clam chowder is a first for me. Who puts bacon bits in clam chowder!? Im sick to my stomach, I guess it serves me right for (not reading the label and) assuming that clam chowder would be pork free. Never again!

Sweet Tomatoes is a buffet with higher quality food than, say, Old Country Buffet, but not as high quality as, say, Chipotle. They use local, organic farms as much as they can. Their locally sourced pickles are amazing! The price is very reasonable (roughly $10-13 per person, all you can eat). The menu changes every month and usually has a theme. My favorite part, though, is they always have clearly labeled vegan options (confoundingly, no vegan desserts, though).

We will go someplace else next time...We have eaten at SWEET TOMATOES many times over the years mostly at the Dale Mabry location.. For almost 30.00 ( thank God we had a coupon ) 2 dinners @11.49 each..2 soft drinks @ 2.49 ea...plus a 2.00 tip to the bus-girl...it really aint cheap ! plus tax... The food was okay..but not great....ugh ! 30 bucks would buy a lot of fancy lettuce dishes etc... It has gone downhill...Paul in TPA

The soups were very disappointing. The chili was plain, the french onion soup was very, very salty, and the clam chowder was so tasteless, if you didnt know what you were eating, you would not be able to tell what it was. Even the clams had no flavor. Im no chowder snob, but I do love it when its good, and this was so disappointing. However, the Albondigas Locas soup was awesome. And no comment cards? And, $13 per adult?

Ive been going there for the past 3 yrs..N I used to love it n I loved the people....but it gets worse N worse ..N I love my salads N muffins N my onion soup as well...but the pizza is nv cooked the dough can just make u sick N dry.......muffins are dry N HARD too now..?????y u pay almost $23.00...it better be good.....but theres alot of hard workers there but not everyone is as nice N caring.....

Great food and atmosphere. The new manager at this location, had been at the North Dale Mabry restaurant. His quality as a good leader brought him to this location. My experience with him, shows that hes very personable. I was with my friend, and she commented to the manager and me that the soup and other items were outstandingly in comparison to the North Dale Mabry restaurant.

Love it here! I seriously think they lose money when I show up. I load up on everything. But I do make sure I eat it all. They usually have pineapples, apples comma cooking tapioca pudding in addition to the regular dessert items. Only thing is it doesnt have really any meat I have to spoon out the chicken from the chicken noodle soup to get my meat.

At the most the food was average. The soup & pasta bar was worried.everything I tasted was under seasoned. The clam chowder was good but they used water instead of milk thats why when left to sit it develop a film on top, very undesirable but half way good. I expect my thoughts to the manager went in one ear out the other. Will not eat there again

Good place to get an assortment of healthier options for one price. The food is usually good but I have experienced some of their poor kitchen hygiene more than once. The situation often has everything to do with current management. My recent visit there yielded a very pleasant experience. Its a good place to meet a friend or take a family.

The building is old and the total atmosphere needs to be updated. The food is just as you would find at other locations, new or old. The menu is based/built around salads and salad bar. Various coupon sources makes meals at Sweet Tomatos a pretty good option for meals. Great place for someone looking for healthy veggie based meals

I like this place. They provide a pretty good service for the price. The only thing I dont care for, and this is a personal preference, is that on their pre-made salads, they drown it with the dressing. You can of course create it on your own and get the dressing, but they dont always have the same ingredients on the line.

Its only soups and salads, nothing real to eat its all sides and appetizers nooooooooo meat at all and they charged me $15 for a salad and soup. This place is only for retired people that cant digest food, this is one of the biggest disappointment and ripoff restaurant ever, do not go there if you are hungry.

The food is fresh, there is always a good selection of soups, prepared salads qnd muffins and breads. The best deal is to get a to-go meal as you get so much more food than if you were to eat there. I love this place as the majority of food is healthy yet you can get your share of naughtiness as well!
