Probably the worst dining experience Ive ever had. Went with about 5 other friends (6 people) on a Friday night around 8:20 PM (I guess they close at 9 PM despite the fact its a weekend). 3 of my friends ordered waters as they had already eaten, and myself and my other two friends ordered food and soft drinks. The waitress (Jamie) was super rude about my friends ordering waters. There were still three people at the table who were paying customers and we were her only table. She literally stood there and asked what we wanted and when they said "water please" she got really rude. She was already short with those of us who ordered real entrees for some reason. She would say "just water?" in a negative tone. She stood there and loomed over the table waiting impatiently just as we had ordered our drinks expecting us to decide on an entree as we had not even had a chance to look over the menu. My friend and I hinted at her saying, "oh we havent had much of a chance to look over the menu yet." She continued to stand there and look at us waiting to write down what we wanted (we hadnt even been there for 5 minutes yet). I figured shed at least go get the drinks to give us some time, but to no avail she stood there and we decided on an appetizer of fried shrooms and regular burgers. She went to grab our drinks which literally took at least 10 minutes as we watched her through the door windows which look right into a kitchen area goof around with one of the cooks doing stupid dances. If she was so upset about our timing (which she shouldnt have been to begin with considering we got there almost an hour before closing) then I dont see why she would be goofing off for 10 minutes, also neglecting us. Finally got the drinks. The appetizer came out with the food, which was pointless. She didnt bring napkins or silverware in case anyone wanted one, at least for the fried mushrooms. Didnt bring the extra mayo my friend and I requested with our burgers and we didnt see her again until it was time for the check. As far as the food goes, the fried shrooms were spectacular. The burgers were burnt, and I hate burnt burgers. Jamie didnt ask how we wanted them cooked, which is usually an option when youre paying upwards of $8 for JUST a burger. It probably was an option, but she failed to ask. They also dont come with fries, and I wish I would have known but I didnt have a chance to look over the menu.. All in all, Id give the food about 4 stars for the price, but honestly Ive never been so fed up with service at a restaurant. She was possibly the most unpleasant waitress Ive ever been waited on (thats a stretch) by. Also, the only time Ive never tipped someone. I wrote under the tip line "Just water" in hopes that she caught my drift about how snotty she was being. The food is good, but make sure you request a different waitress if you get Jamie. Ill probably be finding another grill next time I drive to St. Augustine for the evening.

The WORST experience at a restaurant in years. Please read this review. The order: Grilled chicken Caesar salad, 2 hamburgers with fries, a seared tuna wrap with fries and a Mexican style salad. Fries were brought out 10 minutes before the food (???). Then it goes downhill from there. I tasted the "grilled" chicken, it was ICE COLD. My wife tasted the ground beef on her salad, it was ICE COLD. Another member of the party bit into his seared tuna wrap and the fish was RANCID. He says "Oh my God, its bad fish". He got up, went to the bathroom and threw up. (we looked at the fish and it was dark gray inside) I called for the manager. He said "sorry about the fish, and the ground beef should not have been cold, but we always server the chicken cold". Really? Someone orders grilled chicken so you first grill it and then throw it in the fridge to get it cold before serving? Really? Thats complete BS. He said to forget the french fries, we could go. We left the place shaking our heads.

Dont go when its busy, you wont get served. Dont go when its not busy, they dont care. My wife, children and myself waited ten minutes for service and received none. They could give us a dirty look for our stroller being in the way, its a small place and I wasnt about to leave it outside with out stuff. On the way out I stopped by the kitchen where every single employee was hanging out, and told them of my displeasure. Suddenly they wanted to help. Whats the point? There are much better places in St Augustine, especially along St George Street, to support.

My family loved this place. We take trips to St. Augustine every now and again but have never been to Cruisers. So wanting a burger, we decided to see what was up with this place. Of course my oldest daughter changed her mind and ended up getting a quesadilla, which she loved. The atmosphere is fun and laid back, the views are pretty good, the prices are decent, but the food makes it worth the money. The staff was awesome and very helpful. Overall made our St Augustine trip complete. Will definitely be going back next time to try something new!

The server who greeted us on the outside patio was very friendly. She explained "How it works", basically that they dont use heat lamps, so the food would be brought out ( each persons meal) as soon as it was ready. I say call Gordon Ramsay right now, because not only is it EASY to prepare & send out 2 Nacho orders & 1 Quesadilla at the SAME time, but its always easy NOT to over bake them! Price would have been decent if the orders werent almost burnt! Needless to say, we werent impressed with anthing other than our servers hospitality!

Awful. I wouldnt even leave a star. The food is typical tourist food, rude wait staff, and the wait time for the food was an hour. It was an experience to say the least, and now we can say that this is the worst restaurant we ever "ate" at. (They actually didnt charge for my meal because the chicken was so rubbery, I couldnt eat it and neither could my friends) Dont go here, there are wayy better places in St Aug.

Outdoor dining, some under civer, some not. Dog friendly. Dining seating is a mix of picnic tables, tables with plastic chairs, and sitting on bar stools at the bar. Beer is served along with casual menu items (wings, fries, hamburgers, sandwiches, etc.). Wait staff seem nice. Credit cards accepted. Located near the historic fort at the eastern perimeter of the historic pedestrian shopping district.
