No customer service. I order a Chicago beef and it nearly had no meat. $7.30 later plus drink and chips came $10 something. Owner (I assume) gave me an excuse of how they sometimes get sent big hoagie buns than usual. He then said "therefore.... you know". He took a phone call mid conversation and then Instead of finishing our conversation when he was finished, he ate some of his own food at a table. So still being hungry I try to order more food (Chicago dog) from a different lady at the register. just to be overlooked by a customer behind me. I told her the exact same thing on how I was so disappointed in the amount of beef that was non existent practically. No response from her. In fact she looked like I was I inconvincing her. I should have walked out then. All in all I spent $14 on my lunch break just to leave in a bad mood and no one there cared. First time customer and I will NOT be coming back. Im from Chicago and this place is a wannabe hot dog stand. Very dissapointed all in all but mostly because I felt ignored by the staff.

I happened upon this Chicago Deli by accident and wondered "Could this be from the same family of Chicago Deli restaurants where I used to enjoy amazing Italian Beef sandwiches?" To my delight, it was! Spicy, dripping, wholesome goodness on a beef-juice-saturated hoagie roll. Not a fancy place, nor cheap (by Southern standards) but great food with a wide selection of filling sandwiches. Just a bit of decorating to brighten up the dining room would do wonders.

This restaurant is clean, the staff is efficient and polite.. Eat in and carry out.. Soup of the day.. I have only eaten there hot dogs and soup but I have heard their other sandwiches are very good.. Old Chicago feel and memoribilia.. Not cheap but good food isnt anywhere anymore..

I was looking for a good deli and gave this a try. The sandwich was pretty ordinary, plain ordinary bread, plain lunchmeat and plain cheese. I thought it was expensive for what I got.

The damn hot dog skin is too hard man!! The whole dog pulls out of the bun with EVERY bite! No snap. Terrible.
