This is the second closest Chinese restaurant to my house. I became interested in it out of necessity, when the closest one closed its doors. So I searched Google Maps for a substitute and came up with this one, China Kitchen II. I had driven past it at least a hundred times, but never bothered to stop in since I already had a regular place to go to. But then I noticed a problem; why are there no reviews? Okay, maybe they are new, not enough time for reviews to show up. Or maybe they dont get a lot of business because only a small percentage of customers actually leave reviews, Or maybe... the food is not that great and no one felt the inclination to leave a review. Mmmm. What to do? Well, I needed to establish a relationship with a new Chinese Restaurant, and I dont like driving far, so after a lot of contemplation I decided to take a chance. I called in my order and asked how long it would be and the lady on the phone said, "Right away." Interesting. My old restaurant always said twenty to thirty minutes and then was still late when I arrived to pick it up. Nice change. I was feeling better already. So I drove to the China Kitchen II which is only 5 minutes away and walked into the front door. Boy, is this place clean. Spotless. Thats important to me because nothing turns me off faster than a dirty restaurant. I gave a quick scan of the kitchen which is visible from the pick-up counter and that also was completely spotless. Another nice surprise. And the phone lady wasnt kidding. I told the counter lady my name and my order was actually ready. No more waiting like the old place I used to frequent. I drove home and my wife and I tried the Won-ton. The first thing I noticed was it was done "al-dente" kind of like spaghetti is supposed to be. Im used to eating Won-ton kind of mushy, as in overdone, but this was much better. I commented that this was probably the way it is supposed to taste. Then we tried the Chicken with Fried Rice and it was excellent. Better than Ive ever tasted. So I give it an A for the food. I dont know why this restaurant had no reviews at the time of this writing, but it deserves some. And good ones. Overall, China Kitchen II is a five-star winner. Fast service, good prices, great food. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for outstanding Chinese food.

Restaurant is clean! Bathrooms are nasty....food is okay never have seen brown lo mien.... they do not offer a fountain machine only refrigerated drinks, coke-cola products, no pibb or dr.pepper. Egg drop soup is crazy crazy way to hot. (Temp) service is friendly.
