We wait one hour and half then left. I went with my wife and after 20 minutes the manager told us that they ran out of chicken and they will start to cook the chicken now. Since we already spent 20 minutes we decided to wait. “Danna” the manger was going in and out the side the store with bags full of Togo food. After an hour and half she started to serve the customer inside the store. Even after hour and half “Danna” did not “serve first come first serve” but serve customers who just enter before us. What make the matter worse the in sanitary condition and I wonder where the health Department from that store. You can see the open kitchen is dirty. One of the Cook was in the bathroom and he even did not rinse his hand after he used the toilet. We asked for our money back and left and wasted time for nothing. Never again. Update, In response to “ this is not McDonald” even though , waiting for more than an hours to get your food while watch the manager “Donna” going in and out of the store with bags full of food , using bathroom without even rinsing your hand. I do not care whether it is McDonald or the most fancy restaurant “ obviously Polo Tropical is NOT fancy” it is not acceptable . My only request is the Health Dept. and the Company do due diligent and address these issues. Anyway , go on own risk.

What a joke....Called in to order family meal....first the manager said for me to go online and place it,,,,then she informed me that she was in the office so she couldnt tell me my total.......Ummmmmmm walk your a@@ out of the office?? Reason I called was because I had the coupon that was sent in mailer and it wouldnt let me order online using it.....And go figure, when I got to the drive thru to pick up my order that the MANAGER IN THE OFFICE had taken, it was wrong....SMH, not surprised. Clearly she didnt want to be bothered with me or my order......That was 2 weeks ago....Decided to give it another try last night (who knows, they are new...maybe working out kinks still) I was wrong!!!!! They were out of rice and said it would take an hour to make.....LMAO.....We left and got a Publix rotisserie chicken....This place needs some SERIOUS help getting their sh@# together.... Sucks, because the first time we ordered, ONCE THEY GOT THE ORDER CORRECT the food was good!

Honestly pretty crappy. Small portions, long wait time and flavorless food. Their puny salsa bar is a sad joke! Hello, did anybody from PL bother to check out the real salsa bars at Chipotle or Moes? They are basically right next door and across the street and are superior to this place. Also wondering if this is a franchise or corporate store. Either way, I dont think it is going to make it. What we really needed in this location is a Zaxbys and a Steak n Shake. We had been warned about this place being so sorry but figured that all who told us must have been wrong. They were all right! Our advice is to avoid it. There are better choices within 100 feet! Also, no sour cream available!! Seriously? One more thing that is really disgusting too...My wife and I each got chicken and both meals had bones or something in t he chicken pieces that we had to spit out. GROSS!

He visitado dos veces este "Pollo Tropical" (ayer y hoy) y ... NO TIENEN POLLO.

I have eaten lunch twice now at the new Pollo Tropical. The first time I ate on noon on a weekday. The restaurant was very busy, and we waited 20 minutes for chicken dinners. I returned a second time on a weekend and only waited 5 minutes for my meals. If I had a tight lunch hour, I would order online in advance. The chicken was delicious, very tender and fresh. I enjoyed sides of balsamic tomatoes and red beans and rice. The fried plantains (platanos maduros) are also excellent. We are looking forward to returning. I think the wait for fresh, healthy and delicious food is definitely worth it. I hope additional locations open in the county.

Three strikes and your out. The Port Orange location just cant get an order correct. Once again we pick up an order to go, 1/4 chicken with two sides and a trio with two sides. We get home and there are two trios and one of trio the sides were left off. This was not the first time that sides were left off, Why? is there a shortage on sides. I believe the manger of this location needs to be re-trained at the Pollo in Orlando and the Pollo in Fort Lauderdale because when it comes down to it, it is his or hers responsibility. Believe me, there is a difference with the food and the service with the other two locations mentioned. Will not be back.

The food is awesome, was very excited about one finally opening close to home but this location is a disappointment. First I go online to check closing time and it says they are open until 12 am so I drive over, i get there at 10:20pm and the sign says they are open until 11 pm not 12. I go to open the door and its locked, the employee tells me they are closed but I could go to the drive thru. I get to the drove thru and they tell me they are out of chicken for the night... wtf?? No chicken at Pollo Tropical (English Translation: Tropical Chicken)? Thats like Pizza Hut being out of Pizza -.- get it together!!!

I have had this only a few times since they opened, so take my review with a grain of salt. In general, the food is pretty good but the portions are somewhat small for the price. I got a wrap combo the other day, and the thing was tiny for the almost $6 that I paid for it. Granted, it did come with a small side and a drink for that price so its not that bad. My wife got a small rice bowl and that was a decent size for the price. It was not Chipotle though, and thats all I have to say about that.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. They accidently gave us the wrong order at the drive threw. So I called up there . They said "sorry, we will replace it". When I got there to have it replaced, they said my name wasnt in the book. Aperantly they got too busy and forgot to write my name down. So that meant I didnt get my food. It was like a 25$ order. The manager pedro was so rude about it... I will never go there again... total jerks

Horrible, horrible, horrible! Dont bother spending your money here. The reason I say this is because Ive gone to this place twice and they have gotten me and my mothers order wrong every time! I told one of ladys walking around that my order was not this that it was a Chipotle sandwich and she comes back 5 mins later with a bun and a breast not even together. Its like they just threw it on the plate.
