Excellent Gourmet/Boutique type burgers. You lucky Port Orange folk - this is an awesome burger joint. These burgers are juicy, tasty, well made, good ingredients and made fresh on the grill. Lots of toppings to choose from in the burger salad bar section. I was looking for steak sauce though for my fries and didnt see that :-( however seemed to have a bit of everything else. A few different types of ketchup (Regular ketchup, Garlic Ketchup, Brown Mustard, BBQ Sauce, Banana Peppers, Onions, Tomatoes, Lettuce (nice and crispy and green), Olives etc.) Burger: 5.0 I had the works - hubby had the black and blue. Both of us commented how tasty and more superior these burgers are compared to Red Robin burgers The Daily Grind burgers are very juicy and tasty. Fries: 3.0 Not fresh cut (they are frozen fries), but they are okay - I am fussy when it comes to fries (being British its probably the only thing Brits know how to do well), so frozen fries dont quite cut it for me...however, they were fried crispy. Red Robin Fries are frozen steak size fries. The Daily Grind is frozen regular type fries. For Fries Five Guys Burger Joint has the best fries (as they cut them fresh) Drinks: 4.5 They have a fancy schmanzy soda machine that hubby liked that offered quite an array of Non- Run of the Mill type soda drinks so for ingenuity I give a 4.5 for being able to provide customers with something a bit different in the pop/soda department Guy next to me was eating a steak - it looked AMAZING. And was wayyy less than the price you would pay at any steak-house. So if in the mood for a steak I would suggest this place (if its anything like their burgers well its a no brainer). I would come here for a burger again for sure. Excellent product. Sure its a tad more expensive than a regular burger place, but these aint your regular crapola burgers. These are your boutique gourmet burgers and worth that little extra $s for quality and taste. Burgers come in 3 sizes (we had the 5oz and was perfectly substantial and filling).

This place used to be so good. But the past few times have just been bad. My mom and i wanted the medium burgers cooked rare. Rare was not what my mom got. They offered her a new burger and gave her a burger that was ALREADY on the grill. They dressed it up and gave it to her she got it ready and took a bite. As worse as the first. She said it was hard and so hot in the middle that she could burn her lip. After eating maybe eating half of her burger she pushed it to the side. One girl was running orders outside and saw the plate at the end of the table and didnt bother to ask anything. Just kept walking. My mom told her it still wasnt cooked right and the girl just said that it was from being exposed to the air since they make the burgers there. This place used to be so good and pretty affordable. It has gone down hill from 4 years ago when we first started eating here. Then we hand really no problems. Now its like we do. I dont recommend this place to anyone. To be honest. I would have rather had a frozen burger from a fast food place. Its sad to see how mich theyve changed over the years.

I ate there on a Friday night around 6:00 PM. When I walked in, they looked at me but would not come and take me order. As I was about to leave, a kid came and took my order. As they were preparing my order, a serviceman/repairman/whatever had the ceiling tiles out right beside the toppings bar and was on a step ladder apparently running some cables. Im sure dirt and dust was falling on the toppings. And to make things worse, the hamburger was so greasy that the bottom bun was totally soaked in grease. I used to enjoy it, but never again. There are too many other choices.

Was eating here every week after they first opened! Still one of the top 3 burgers Ive ever had, but its so expensive now. Love all the options but they priced me out of it. And when you get a side of fries the amount they give you is so small you leave still hungry. Amazing food, but looks like maybe the margins got a little tight and they had to cut back on some things. Oh well. Update: unfortunately it got MORE expensive than a year ago when I posted my last review. Food is good but they changed buns. Used to live the fresh baked buns. The new ones are weird.

AMAZING service! Craig was very helpful. I brought my friend for his first time and Craig was at the counter. He pointed out a few different burgers (that we were interested in) named everything on them without needing help, kept an awesome smile and friendly personality. We got our burgers and he continued to check on us, then gave us dessert on the house just for the heck of it! I had better service here than any restaurant where I actually had a server. Highly recommend it here!

Great burger, but priced high. I am here currently waiting over 30 mins for our food (3 people in our group). There are only 3 visible people working and they are very preoccupied with running food to the business next door. They are definitely not staffed for the amount of business on a Friday night and this isnt our first experience like this one. They only thing that keeps us coming back, is the quality of the food. Other reviews are correct about them being stingy on the fries.

Great Burgers, the fresh meat can be noted in the taste, cooked to preference (medium in my case) made a juicy good patty. Didnt love the fries but great ketchup selection and topping bar is great! Prices are reasonable for the quality. Does not make podium (top 3) on my burger list, but is definitely a top ten! Have not visited many burger joints in Port Orange but this has to be one of the best in the area.

Ive been eating at tbe Daily Grind since 2009. When I lived in Daytona, I ate here at least once a week. I dont live here anymore, but every single time business brings me back, I visit the daily grind. The food is always excellent, the menu options diverse, the staff cheerful, the prices fair, and the drinks cold. If youve never been to the Daily Grind, you should remedy that situation. Youll thank me later.

Awesome awesome! It tasted as if I was eating a steak and not a burger. The meat was perfectly tender and the cheese was nicely melted . Craig was very helpful and kind, I even had a chance to try out their homemade cornbread with ice cream! If youre in the area do yourself a favor and check them out. Also they are not overpriced.

Definitely a nice place to grab a bite. Theyve chaged a lot of things over the years but the food is still great. I only have the burgers with a side of fries, etc. but I dont doubt everything else is made at the same level. If you live in Port Orange or are visting the Dayton area, definitely try sitting down for a good lunch!
